I read ball reviews on Amazon that were written by people that don't bowl all of the time...so here's a ball review written by someone who bowls. This thing hooks. I am speed dominant, moderate revs ~350 rpm and I've always thrown stronger, earlier equipment because of that. As a result, I experience alot of roll out and leave a ton of buckets. I buy this ball, and have my PSO drill it with a pretty standard strong layout, and the first ball I throw on a fresh house shot sees friction and crosses the headline. OK. I can finally play the middle of the lane? I stand left, throw right, and this ball comes back from anywhere. I mean, I'm talkin standing between 6 and 7 and throwing out to one board. 2nd game out of the box I shoot 80 pins over average. 3rd game , same thing. This ball is the cleanest through the heads I have ever seen. No wasted energy. The aggression cover with the HK-22 additive is something the mad scientists over at Brunswick/Hammer should be proud of. If you are looking for an aggressive ball that will probably end up being your new benchmark, you owe it to yourself to try out the Widow Hybrid 2.0. Oh, yeah delivery was fast and stuff. Cool.

First time ordering a bowling 🎳 ball online. Last bowling ball came from KMart in Stockton CA back when they were in business before closing for good. I was really excited about the Hammer 🔨 Technology and looking forward to increasing my Bowling game. The problem is that I assumed it came with pre drilled holes. No where on the advertisement does it disclose that no holes is an option. Anyway I feel like Amazon dropped the ball so to speak because if you're not going to disclose that there are no pre drilled holes, at least give directions as to where can I get holes after receiving the ball.🤔💯🎳😁

Have yours drilled for down-lane hook, stand on the 40 board, walk toward the 12 board, let it roll off the tips of your fingers and watch it drive through the pins for strike after strike. I never saw such a ball. It’s amazing. Takes a bit to get used to and it hooks so much that at first, you won’t be able to keep it on your side of the head pin. Move left, 5 boards at a time and walk toward your mark, otherwise the reach will be too much. Best price anywhere on the Internet. A followup—after a few months of sailing this ball down the lanes, it soaks up oil pretty quickly so you need to have your bowling center cook that out for you every 200 games. You also need to resurface it with 1,500 grit Siaair and Crown compound. Was surprised how much this restored the ball to brand new.

I’m a left handed bowler, who on the advice of the local pro-shop tech went on the search for a good hybrid ball. I chose the Black Widow based primarily on the Amazon reviews. I’m happy to report after a full year of use (summer and winter league with three tournaments) this has become my primary ball. The rev rate is a little better than my hard ball and the good pin action makes my oft shots off the mark much more forgiving.

Moved to Delaware so there’s not much to do. Bought this because online it said it’s good for putting a spin on it. I’ve always wanted to do that. Sadly, if you give a bad carpenter good tools he’s still a bad carpenter. That’s how it went with the ball. Oh, and I had to get fingers drilled at local alley. Completely no idea what I was doing buying this. But it’s pretty dope!
