Would recommend for any beginner! This was the first bowling ball I purchased since getting into bowling last year. As a beginner I didn't know what I wanted in a bowling ball, so I went with something economical. The lanes that my league bowls on are oiled to a standard house pattern, with the oil/lanes drying out midway through the second game. This ball works great for all 3 games, just have to adjust once the lanes break down like any other ball, but this ball will not hook into the gutter like some of the asymmetrical balls meant for slicker conditions. ... show more
