the v=broom get every little thing off the floor and the rakes on the dustpan hold all the little stuff and the dust on the bristles. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars all the way across is because the poles on the broom and the broom itself are always coming loose. The only solution I have come up with is to add glue to the inside and let it set. I have tried several times to tighten the poles but for some odd reason they always come loose. it is a great broom and dustpan. I just wish the poles held together better. ... show more

This is an effective design. Some other broom/dustbin combos I have used left some dirt under the dustbin lip. This one does not. Everything is made of plastic, so it is very light, but durability may suffer. For me, this will be kept outside, so it is a plus as it is replacing one with a metal handle that rusted out. This is the broom I've needed for a while now. Sturdy, it's easy to assemble and disassemble, its bristles are good for sweeping. It doesn't feel as gross as other brooms tend to become.

The quality is good and the price was reasonable. I’m replacing a set that is worn out. With two dogs, this is perfect for a quick sweep up to get up dog hair (etc.) from the hardwood and linoleum (or any hard surface) floors.

I like the broom and dust pan combo; however for some reason my extension for the handle keeps coming out. I recently just glued it together as I’m 5’7 and need the extension - otherwise I like it

I’m 5’4” and this broom (even with the extension in place) is still short. Also the bristles are weak so the product does a less than stellar job of sweeping up messes. The dustpan is great though. Love the self cleaning comb portion.

I’ve had this set up before, but this broom is much thicker, softer, and fluffier than any of the other brooms. The other ones were very rigid, and I think this one is more effective because it gets more junk off the floor, and it goes through the tines better.
