This dustpan has really effective teeth for getting wads of animal hair off the broom and into the dustpan. The broom is sturdy and the dustpan is made to get most of the dust, if not all of it from the floor into the dustpan. That is different. I wasn't expecting that. What I was expecting would be that there were supposed to be two extension poles included, one for the broom handle and one for the dustpan. There was only one extension. Having read many of the reviews I kinda expected that. I thought I would take a chance anyway. Turns out, I don't need the dustpan to have a longer handle because it fits with my 5 foot 7 inch frame. I can easily hold the top of the handle without bending over, whereas, I couldn't use the broom with a short handle, so I used the only extension that was in the box to make the broom work for me. I am quite happy with this purchase. This broom and dustpan is the best set I have ever owned, in spite of the missing part. I have no complaints about it, but if you are taller than 5"7", you might have to stoop to use it, unless you get Both extension pieces. I would recommend. ... show more

Very basic and had to get replacement order for the first shipment. The dustpan works well, but tge broom is pretty cheap and doesn't pick up tiny bits well. Glad I only got it for quick cleanup of larger bits to make the swiffer more effective and last longer. No doubt I'll be replacing the broom soon. ... show more
