I’m really happy with these Brooks Glycerin 23 running shoes! They are very comfortable and have plenty of cushioning without feeling too heavy. Really like these shoes so far. I've only used them on the treadmill, but they are comfortable, cushiony, and didn't seem to need any break-in time. They did take a little while to get used to because they were "bouncier" than my last pair of shoes (Asics Gel Nimbus), but that isn't a con. I didn't really care about color since they are just for workouts, but the black with peach looks nice enough. Ordered in my normal size (8) and the fit was correct. Like the quality of these shoes and that the heels don't slide around (I have narrow heels). Would buy again. ... show more

It's been a bit of an odyssey finding another pair of good running shoes. I bought these to replace my Caldera 6's. I loved those shoes bc they were a trail/pavement hybrid. So, initially I bought the newest version of the Brook's Caldera. Those were the most uncomfortable tennis shoes I have every worn. They are not suitable for pavement-not even a little. So, I decided to try these. I like the bounce and toe off. They dont seem to have the same cushion at the ball of my foot though which kind of stinks. However, if you are buying these just for walking-they are incredibly comfortable. They give you just enough support without feeling restrictive or too tight. All in all, I like these shoes, but for the price, I dont love them as I did my old Caldera's. Brooks has been my go to for almost 2 decades now and I will continue to buy them to run in, but I think next time I will go to a store to try them out before purchase. I dont like the tongue design. I have to pull it up several times and its a bit bulky, but it is very padded and cushioned and doesnt cause any discomfort which is great. I have very high arches, and narrow feet, but I am 42 and have seen my toes spread over time after running for years and carrying a child, so it might be best for someone like me to try them out in the store before purchase. ... show more

If I could give these shoes a 10-star rating, I would. I'm a die-hard Glycerin girly but I get annoyed because often I have to go with white or black and I appreciate they have a neutral-ish medium that's not neon because who decided highlighter colors were the only option for women's workout shoes? ANYWAYS. So much support, arch hits exactly where it should, wide toebox that doesn't feel constricted, and they LAST. 10/10, no notes. ... show more

Best sneakers I have ever had ! Excellent support, cushion , bounce. I am on my feet all day and they do not hurt wearing these sneakers. I also have feet issues and use orthotics with them and they are perfect ! Highly recommend !     • Brooks Glycerin 23 Wide Width Didn't Feel Roomier, and the Upper Felt Too Tight

I'm 5'2" and 114 lbs. I tried a size 6.5 Wide. I was surprised that even though I ordered the Wide version, the toe box didn't feel any roomier than the Brooks Ghost Max in a regular width. The upper wrapped over my instep too tightly, making the shoe feel restrictive. While walking, my big toe felt pushed downward and forward, which became uncomfortable after a short time. The cushioning also felt firmer than I expected. This may work well for others, but unfortunately it wasn't the right fit for my feet. ... show more

I’m a nurse on my feet for 12+ hours a day. I have been a Brooks fan for years (never cared for the Hoka craze that everyone else got into). I love the Ghost series but a year ago I tried the Glycerins and they’re perfect for me! This is my 2nd pair of Glycerin - first ones were the Glycerin 22’s which have held up really well and still look great, but with the mileage I put on them I like to replace them every 6-12 months. The 23’s are just as great, they fit exactly the same for me. I put about 10k-13k steps a day in these and they are great for absorbing shock and spring back nicely as I walk. They’re so comfortable I don’t even think about my feet all day, and my legs and back don’t ache at night as they would with cheaper shoes. 100% worth the money. ... show more
