Bromelain was recommended by my lymphatic massage therapist after getting chin lipo. I have been using a variety of different post op recovery options, such as getting professional drainage massages, daily self massages, drinking plenty of water and taking these pills. So I’d like to say that a combination of all of those things have helped my recovery tremendously. The pills are big, which is common for capsule supplements.     • Fixed my severe swelling and pain
I am usually quite skeptical about using supplements as a miracle pill, but after severing two ligaments in my ankle and partially tearing a third, I was desperate to try anything that would ease the pain and swelling. Within a month of taking these, I had less pain and far less swelling, but I was thinking that’s just from normal healing. Anything gets better on its own after 30 days, right? So I quit taking them. The benefits maintained for about a week, but after that, I had severe swelling and pain. I was terrified that I had regressed or reinjured it. I went on this way for almost 3 weeks before I decided to try the bromelian again. After a week, the swelling and pain both disappeared. I’m not saying I have a totally normal looking ankle. It’s still pretty jacked up, but my toes no longer look like tiny sausages handing from the end of a flesh colored watermelon. I’ve been able to start working out, taking longer and faster walks, and sleeping through the night without waking up because my foot was throbbing. The anti inflammatories were killing my stomach. Now, I take an Advil once in a blue moon. As an added bonus, the beneficial gut support has kept me more regular than I’ve ever been in my life, so it’s a win-win. ... show more

    • Wow, such a fine thing
Had a little dental appointment where my dentist yanked a rather large rear molar. Didn’t want to use ibuprofen or Tylenol and really didn’t want any opioids. After some research it sounded from many people that a combination of Bromelain and Arnica might help. They got it to me real fast. The day arrived and the bloody deed was done. A twice a day regimen was immediately started right after. It’s true the combination took care of the bruising, swelling and very importantly the pain which never came. Not any pain at all on that day or any following day. I’m very impressed. Girlfriend fell down while hiking and she started the same combination regimen and for her the result was no typical bruising or swelling and no pain. She was hiking again two days later.
