I searched and even went into a local store to find cross bars that would fit my 2020 Ford Escape SE Sport Hybrid since it had the flush rails and panoramic sunroof. At the store the guy said due to the flush rails I needed to buy these additional fit clips ($150), then the feet, and then the crossbars and my total was quickly $700-$800. Needless to say, I left the store and was determined to find a better more reasonably priced set. This was the solution that I found. These fit perfectly, are easy to install, and are very sturdy and well built. I love the design and how they blend in with the look of my car. Put these rails on a 2020 Ford Escape Sport Hybrid with the panoramic sunroof. Happy with sturdiness of the rails, wasn't sure what to expect as these are about half the cost of OEM. Used on a FORD ESCAPE 2023 WITH SUNROOF. These rails fit perfectly and were easy to put together - I was nervous about putting them together because of some of the reviews here, but there isn’t that much to figure out - it was super easy. In my photos I’ve include a front and side view and also with the sunroof closed and the sunroof open. The rails are tall and there is plenty of room for the sunroof to fully open without any issue. We took a trip to Colorado with a large Thule roof mounted cargo box. The installation was easy and we had no problem mounting the box. We filled that thing to the brim with hiking and fishing stuff. When we started the trip I would stop often to check if the box was still there or if rails had moved. Nope, solid as can be. Eventually I just trusted it was find and gave it a quick glance every time we stopped for gas. On the way back we stopped at a hotel for the night and when we went back to the car we saw that it was still there, not stolen. Overall it was a great purchase.     • Low cost but concerned how they will hold up

These are a low cost plastic option I used for my Ford Escape. I only needed them to secure a car top luggage bag for a cross country trip. Some of the screws seemed to not tighten all the way (seemed to strip easily) and the two screws with a plastic cover on the nut (designed to be hand tightened) fell apart immediately. I had to modify the bracket to allow the two spare nuts to work. It held up fine for the 3,000 mile trip and should be OK as long as my daughter doesn't try to put something heavy on them. ... show more

These crossbars were easy to install however the M5 screws were missing so I had to go to a hardware store to get them. They looked very good, unlike some makeshift ones that I had in the past.
