This item is a perfect fit for my 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid with panoramic sun roof. These rack bars sit up high enough to give clearance to the roof when it is fully opened. Installation is simple, and good instructions are include. The bars are sturdy powder coated aluminum. Black, a perfect match for my vehicle. They are lockable and two keys are included as well as necessary hardware. Once the mounting brackets are torqued down, they bars are solid. Was pleased to find that they included a socket type wrench. I have tools, but nice to have this small one to keep in the car... Although can't foresee ever needing to remove the rack bars. The cost is half what the OEM would charge. Very Good value for money!! I am not using these for luggage but rather as mounting points for my amateur radio mobile antennas.

We took a trip to Colorado with a large Thule roof mounted cargo box. The installation was easy and we had no problem mounting the box. We filled that thing to the brim with hiking and fishing stuff. When we started the trip I would stop often to check if the box was still there or if rails had moved. Nope, solid as can be. Eventually I just trusted it was find and gave it a quick glance every time we stopped for gas. On the way back we stopped at a hotel for the night and when we went back to the car we saw that it was still there, not stolen. Overall it was a great purchase. It kept our interior space free and clear, and it did the job as intended.

I took a chance on these crossbars because of mixed reviews and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them! I mounted them on a 2025 Ford Escape and they fit perfectly. Very nicely engineered, all metal, no plastic to break. I have not driven yet so I can't rate the wind noise. If you are looking for a set of crossbars for your Escape or any Ford with the low roof rails that don't cost $350 from Ford, then these are them!

The crossbars didn’t come with many instructions, but they were easy enough to put on. If there is no cargo on them, they are totally unnoticeable from inside the cab and do not block the moon roof which was awesome. We took my car on a camping trip and they easily held 70-80 LBS. A common problem I have seen with these crossbars is with the hex key it comes with being too small, and I unfortunately had the same issue. It’s not that big of a deal, it was just annoying. The front screws also came with plastic wing screw caps that both popped off while installing them, but they screw on no problem without them. Overall they are great crossbars with a few minor hiccups.

I searched and even went into a local store to find cross bars that would fit my 2020 Ford Escape SE Sport Hybrid since it had the flush rails and panoramic sunroof. At the store the guy said due to the flush rails I needed to buy these additional fit clips ($150), then the feet, and then the crossbars and my total was quickly $700-$800. Needless to say, I left the store and was determined to find a better more reasonably priced set. This was the solution that I found. These fit perfectly, are easy to install, and are very sturdy and well built. I love the design and how they blend in with the look of my car. These also sit up high enough to allow the panoramic sunroof to open. I am very, very happy with my purchase!

This fits perfect on my escape titanium with panoramic moonroof still fully functioning. There is loads of excess clearance between the glass and the racks when the sunroof is fully opened. Install took around an hour on the first try just learning the mechanics, but now that everything is fit and sized correctly, removal would only take a couple minutes. Kit includes decent instructions and all necessary tools. The rack base also holds enough weight to attach rather large accessories. I'm shocked by how well this setup works.

2016 Ford Escape, these fit in place just fine however I'm not a fan of the shape/position of these bars. They mount to the inside of the roof rails, so the bars extend to fit in place which seems to add flexibility in structure. This style looks very slick, meant to be and they will haul kayaks but I've REALLY had to adjust how to secure my kayak on the top to keep straps tight on road trips, I also had to use an angle grinder to cut the REAR bolts down, as the angle of the brackets push the rear bolt INTO the roof of my car. All in all, I strongly recommend the "flat/airplane wing" style cross bars if you plan to haul ladders, kayaks or any other large sized items, versus this curved style.

This was installed in 15 minutes and fit our 2015 Ford Escape in the already existing side rail holes. There was only one allen wrench in the kit that fit the existing plastic screws that filled the holds from the factory on the existing side rails but I had to get a bigger allen out of my tool box to install the new hardware. One thing though, the front rail hardware had one screw on each side you used the wrench (back hole) with but the front one on the front rail on each side had a plastic knob type screw for easier access to remove the front rail and move it to the back extra holes to stow away when not in use ( I guess more for some cars with a sun roof). The black knob popped off when tightened and I could not get it to stay on. That screw has a Philips head on it so it can be removed with a screwdriver. There was two extra screws in the kit that matched all the other hardware so you could use those instead especially if you don't have a sun roof and are going to leave your front rail in place all the time.
