  • They LOVE it!
The media could not be loaded. I had found one of these at the AtHome store and made the mistake of only buying one. I didn't think they would both love it, but as soon as I filled it and gave it to our new rescue our other dog showed interest in it like never before. He never touched his kong, so off to Amazon I went to find another. This treat dispenser is awesome, I fill it halfway with kibble, and tear up some treats into small pieces to put inside as well. They go to town rolling this cupcake all over the floor. The top half is a hard rubber so they can get grip to pick it up, while the bottom half is hard plastic with holes in it for sniffing. My rescue maltese quickly learned to pick it up and set it on her blanket so it is easier to control and doesn't roll away. The other one just rolls it all over and waits for the treats to pop out leaving the kibble all over (bc he is snobby). She isn't picky and is very food oriented so she goes around eating up his scraps. Only complaint is that because the top is rubber and they get it wet with their mouths it will readily grab up hair particles and such. However, this is to be expected given the material. It is super easy to disassemble and wash off. It provides an endless amount of entertainment depending on how big or small the treats are broken into. You can put a larger piece in to block it up a little and slow the dispensing. Too big of pieces though is torture, so eventually you have to open it for them and let them have it, otherwise it won't come out the small hole in the top. Highly recommend, both my maltese's love it. ... show more

  • Great toy
My little white dog LOVES this toy. She plays with it until it is empty. It is small and often she will get it into a spot that I must get up from my comfy sitting spot and lie on the floor to get it out. But it is well worth the effort because this is the first toy she truly enjoys, so she gets exercise and I get a break from her sometimes cloying attention! Buy it! I use cheerios or her dry dog food in the ball. Easy to fill. ... show more

  • Whomp, whomp. Fail.
We play “Hide a Treat” with multiple cage balls and Kongs each evening to keep JB’s nose engaged. His devices go in the dishwasher every now and then. I was stoked about this device having a lid so that I could clean it easily. Yep, first time within 5 minutes - he figured out how to open the lid!!! 🤣🐾 ... show more

  • Not for dogs that are chewers
This looked like such a fun engagement toy I just had to get it for my little pup, she had fun knocking the treats out but then began chewing the plastic ‘icing’ on the cupcake, it’s is not meant for super chewers like her she absolutely destroyed it. This would be a good toy for a mellow older dog or one who isn’t obsessed with toy destruction ... show more

  • Not for moderate to heavy chewers
This toy didn't even last a day. Gave it to her at 8 was destroyed by 12. I don't consider our corgi to be a moderate to heavy chewer. She does destroy a toy every now and again but they are normally stuffed toy or latex. This is a soft rubber top, so I thought it would last...nope

  • Easily destroyed by the dog.
Easy to fill and wash but the dog destroyed the top on the third use. He bit off huge chunks of the top ( 30 lb one year old block mouth cur). Not worth the money. Disappointing

  • It broke immediately
She loved it! For about one minute. First time I gave it to my dog and she played with it, started chewing on it and it is now broken and unusable. Not worth the money.
