We searched for some time for a replacement; this is used in a small office & we wanted a machine with a relatively small footprint & easy to use & maintain. This has far exceeded all expectations, it used all day & produces consistent coffee. It is MUCH quieter than the Lattissima which is a huge plus for a group environment. This is a Nespresso machine and it generally works. Dealbreaker: Breville has decided to force you to buy descaling product twice a year, and it has the most asinine process ever. The machine will not work if it says it needs to be descaled. You do what it demands, but if you step away for 5 seconds it resets itself and goes back to the beginning. People hate inkjet printers for this reason. We don’t need this business model with coffee machines. ... show more

If you are looking for a SUPER easy espresso machine, look no further. This machine produces high quality espresso and espresso beverages. I purchased this machine after having had a machine that used beans. I thought I wanted to mess with beans and all that. Not so much. I realized I was a pod person and this machine is perfect. It’s gorgeous, sleek, and smaller than I anticipated, so doesn’t take up too much counter space. It’s not “loud,” but it makes a little more noise than I expected. Had a pixie for over 20 years. Decided to upgrade and invest in this new machine. Day two it started spurting cold coffee. Nespresso video support had me push reset button which didn’t work and then told me to return it. Did all the research and only thing I saw was people saying it can’t brew and steak simultaneously. Was concerned that a “fancier” machine might break. Moral of the story. Stick with the basics. #Pixiefanforever ... show more
