I ordered this item to restock my kitchen. I did not open it or the other small kitchen appliances until my new cab. and flooring were installed. when I did open them... I put them in my cupboard. 2 weeks later I took the blender out to use and it leaked all over my counter, down the front of my cab. and onto my floor. (what was going to be rootbeer milkshakes) I returned it and received a new one the next day (which was wonderfully fast)... but only had 24 hours to make the return... with the new one, I discovered there was a rubber seal that was missing from the first one. I will never hold the items to keep them new..and was disappointed that I had to add another stress factor to my day by taking off work early to get to the UPS store before closing. ... show more

Where do I start? Will not even blend small frozen blueberries for a smoothie (and they are half thawed), will not blend more than a few inches, have to keep taking lid off and stir. Will not pull the top portion down to the bottom. Bounces all over the place, very strong burning odor while working, very strong chemical taste when drinking smoothie made in it (and yes, it was washed thoroughly before use), Also, all the 12 speeds are exactly the same speed!
