I'm really happy with this purchase. The finished product looks great. The assembly is a bit of work, but fairly easy to follow. I was able to do it all on my own, but a smaller person might be better served having a helper as recommended in the manual. Taking my time it took me a couple of hours. The entertainment center arrived in one box and the fireplace in another. They were delivered on different days, which was expected. I was thrown off a little because both boxes were labeled '1 of 2' and the fireplace box has a different item number, and I couldn't confirm anywhere it was the right part. But box labeling notwithstanding, everything was in order and no parts were missing. There is plenty of extra hardware for both boxes too. All the pieces are well made and in great shape, no dings or scratches, and the doors have protective plastic covering them. All the hardware fits and works as intended, and the item feels nice and sturdy once assembled. Nothing felt cheap. A few things about the assembly: I used a hand held screwdriver for the first half of assembly, then switched to an electric drill specifically for the cam bolts, and wish I'd done it sooner. It would have made things easier. The doors hang last, and they were the only kind of tricky part of putting together the entertainment center. And the fireplace took a little bit of figuring out at the start. For the fireplace, basically all you're doing is removing a single silver screw on each side to then lift the glass off the front. Make sure when you first take off the glass to carefully unplug the LED strip before pulling the glass out too far. You then screw the fireplace into the entertainment center, fill the tray, and rehang the glass, using a tiny screw in each side of the upper holes in the glass to secure it. A final point- the depth of the entertainment center is pretty shallow. I was prepared for that and purchased a wall hang mount for my 65" tv. My tv has enough space to sit on the top of this, but with only about a half an inch to spare on front and back for the feet which would make me very uncomfortable as a permanent placement. It probably doesn't need to be said, but make sure you account for the base of your tv as you might have to move to a wall mount like I did. I hemmed and hawed for a bit about buying this, but I'm very glad I did. It's a nice centerpiece. Update: The LED lights underneath the crystals shine through and are piercing and distracting. They take away from the effect, and because this unit has such a low profile, they are easily visible unless you are sitting rather far away. I found a simple solution that really enhances the effect of the 'ember' look. With the front glass piece off, remove the crystals and the plastic tray that holds them can be lifted off be removing a screw on each side of the front. This exposes the circuit board and the LEDs. I used a little piece of black electrical tape in front of each LED, stuck it to the side of the board, then put the plastic tray back in- no more glaring LED lights shining through the crystals. So a few things I want to say about this product is it is very well put together and setting up the actual wooden parts themselves is not difficult at all as some of the other reviews have been saying. HOWEVER, there are a few things that aren't super clear in the instructions for the electronics so im going to share the wisdom I learned from the super helpful people at their customer support: 1. The glass panel that covers the fireplace has a cable that connects from the panel to the actual fireplace. I ran into an issue where it would power on but wouldn't change color. Make sure all the connections are snug and not loose like mine were or it wont be able to detect the remote. 2. The instructions didn't really say anything about this but the cubby lights are connected via USB. There are 2 USB slots on the back of the fireplace that they connect to and were hard to see until they were pointed out to me. Other than those 2 issues the unit works great and I'm so happy to say this is worth the money! The box is definitely heavy so make sure you have some people helping you move it. Another thing is their customer support was super helpful in helping me resolve the issues I was having! I cannot recommend this product enough! ... show more

Very happy with this TV stand. It was purchased as a gift for my daughter. It was easy to assemble and has a quality look to it. The heater puts out some serious heat and is a nice addition on a blustery cold day. I love the fact that the lights can be switched to the color of your choice.

It's heavy and took time to put together. Well packaged to keep it safe, came in 2 packages and shipments, a day apart. In the end I love it, it's relaxing and works well. I had some issues with the LED lights and the seller was quick to respond and assist the user error. They updated the LED lights and the remote is better than what is pictured. You can do just the fan or add heat which I love. There are many options for colors. It's mostly put together like those cheap bookshelves and I can feel and hear the wood shift slightly when moved. Makes me nervous for when I move because it is heavy. It doesn't come with tools and I found a power drill helpful. A level helps with the doors. The USB ports do not have enough power to charge my phone but the outlets do. The size is large and accurate to description. I think the lack of sturdiness makes the value for money a little on the poor end. ... show more

Assembly took some time but easy to follow directions putting it together. **One thing I would definitely recommend doing that directions don’t say, is to attach LED strip lights with their adhesive to top panel before flipping it over and attaching it to unit. Once it’s assembled it’s a nightmare trying to center the strip lights without seeing what ur doing and working while upside down. I didn’t enjoy this final step at all! Once put together, however, it’s an amazing addition to my sunroom/tv room. I wanted the heater to be able to take the chill off this room during the 6 months of the year when it’s cold or cooler - having the 2 different wattage outputs is a nice feature depending on weather. The LED lights work really well - but I do want to say that it took me over a week to finally figure out how to utilize the option of lights changing colors because the directions don’t explain this at all. You have to go all the way to setting 15 which is how u can achieve the varying colors. One other issue that I never counted on is the fact that my tv remote and fireplace remote both work on same frequency. What a nightmare - Everytime I’m changing the tv, the fireplace LED lights start changing settings and it turns off my heater. I have to switch remotes and put everything back on the way it was. 🤦🏻♀️ Guess it can’t be perfect but I can’t give it 4 1/2 stars so I’ll stick with 5 because I just love the way my tv looks on top of this unit and all its great features including the varying flame 🔥 speeds and brightness. ... show more
