We needed a waterproof, warm, and multi-functional blanket for a month-long car trip with our 90# Rottweiler. Sure, we booked dog-friendly motels, but this princess needs to be on a couch or bed, so the blanket protected the upholstery or/and bed, as she slept on the waterproof side (keeping fur off the bed). When we hit the 9000ft altitudes of Colorado and were staying in a travel trailer on a lake, we used it to keep us warm at night sitting around the fire (and yes, it is large enough to fit around 2 adults comfortably). The handy dandy cover with shoulder strap makes pack-up and transport to our car a cinch when carrying lots of luggage, dogbowls, rainjackets, etc. I have owned travel fleece blankets before - NONE were this large, yet light and compact, or waterproof, They tended to be stiff or small, like a throw, I got far more than I expected, and the trip was a huge success with our Rottie very comfortable on her cushy perches, protected from drool, hair, or dusty paws. SHHH....don't tell the dog -friendly motels about our secret or we won't be welcome back!     • Relatively easy to fold by one person, but two people are better.

This blanket is slick when trying to fold it back up, but it can be done by one person. I love the strap that is attached and wraps around it. With the blanket secured by the strap, it fits easily into the carrying case. The carrying case is so nice as it has a pocket, a carrying handle, and a shoulder strap as well. It has a drawstring on the one end to hold the blanket inside. I bought the matching stadium chairs (blue) and they look great with this blanket (blue plaid). This blanket is quilted, but not with thread, and I don't understand how it holds together, I can only verify that it does. The blanket is not what I would call "thick" either. But, if I lay it on the ground and fold it over a few times, then their is some cushioning between me and the rocks underneath. The blanket is also wide enough for 2 people to sit side-by-side comfortably and feel covered. It is the right length, in my opinion, to not excessively be dragging on the ground when sitting on the bleachers with 2 people underneath it. I hope that I never need it during a rain storm, but I am comfortable with the idea of setting it on wet grass at the park in the mornings. I will not take it to the beach because the fleece will collect too much sand. However, I will take it camping to use outside with my camp chairs, or to lay it on the ground. ... show more

This is a Beautiful large sized, lightweight, easily portable waterproof, wind proof blanket with an Amazing carry bag with removable shoulder strap. It is SUPER warm with it's 300 gsm fleece- which is almost impossible to find in a blanket in this price range. The waterproof portion is not too crinkly or stiff, it is actually very flexible. The quilting makes all the difference as there is no gap between the fleece and the waterproof layer AND it is much easier to roll up and get it into the bag. Do not doubt that you will use this all of the time and it is an easily justifiable purchase. Just get it- I know they are big enough to share but it is more fun to have your OWN.     • Great for sporting events in cooler weather
I ordered this blanket to keep in my car and grab for sporting events on evenings when it gets chilly. We had just such a night last night. The temperatures dropped down into the 50s and had a strong wind making it feel much cooler. This blanket fit over me and my daughter sitting next to me in another chair so the sizing is great for 2 people. We were each only wearing long-sleeve shirts and pants so I'm glad we had the blanket. I will say it is not as thick as I anticipated so I would not expect it to work as well in extremely cold events or freezing weather, but it is great for cooler fall and windy weather. I could tell the material was nice and the water that my daughter spilled from her water bottle onto it wicked away easily so I anticipate staying dry if used in the rain. Much better quality that the first version I ordered/returned by Herimote Home. Color as pictured, is true dyed nice fleece (not printed) and the nylon materials parts are not too stiff. The elastic strap is also helpful/seems quality and the bag of good quality with removable strap and durable handle. Will update after use if it turns out not to be waterproof on wet ground. The price seems high, $30 seems more fair. I guess shipping is now built into everything and taxes are high, everything is so expensive these days... I'd rather buy at a store for less if any existed anymore... but this does seem like it will last for years. ... show more
