Very impressed with the blanket, well made and the bag is large enough that the blaket will go back into the carry bag without fighting to get in back in the carry bag! I have not used if in the rain or under cold conditions however, I will purchace another one as I am sure it will work.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the outside of the blanket is extremely noisy. Sounds like a trash bag which is annoying when using it as a blanket. I am going to wash it using the manufacturers instructions and hope that curbs some of the noise. Besides that it performs exactly as said, very warm, large, well made. Carrying case is also a nice touch, its big enough to easily put the blanket back into it with room to spare. I bought this for camping, floor in tent, and blanket in my hammock. We needed a waterproof, warm, and multi-functional blanket for a month-long car trip with our 90# Rottweiler. Sure, we booked dog-friendly motels, but this princess needs to be on a couch or bed, so the blanket protected the upholstery or/and bed, as she slept on the waterproof side (keeping fur off the bed). When we hit the 9000ft altitudes of Colorado and were staying in a travel trailer on a lake, we used it to keep us warm at night sitting around the fire (and yes, it is large enough to fit around 2 adults comfortably). The handy dandy cover with shoulder strap makes pack-up and transport to our car a cinch when carrying lots of luggage, dogbowls, rainjackets, etc. I have owned travel fleece blankets before - NONE were this large, yet light and compact, or waterproof, They tended to be stiff or small, like a throw, I got far more than I expected, and the trip was a huge success with our Rottie very comfortable on her cushy perches, protected from drool, hair, or dusty paws. SHHH....don't tell the dog -friendly motels about our secret or we won't be welcome back!
