I recently acquired this tool to simplify the process of compressing the brake pistons on my Tundra, as demonstrated in a video I came across. It’s an excellent tool that should make it effortless to compress the pistons to the desired size. The tool’s size is versatile, accommodating both small Mr brakes and larger pads. It’s quite user-friendly and easy to remove. However, I can’t vouch for its durability since I recently purchased it. Nevertheless, considering its price, it’s an unbeatable deal. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to work on my brakes yet, I’m confident in its effectiveness. I’ll provide an update if it proves to be ineffective. Update: Today, I used this product, and as expected, it worked flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to use, and it successfully compressed the pistons on my truck without any issues. The front had a four piston caliper, while the rear had only one. I am delighted that I decided to give this a try.

I work at a tire shop, and I'm currently buying more affordable tools and testing them in and every day use environment. I bought this as a cheaper alternative than Snap on/Mac/Matco ETC. I first used this tool on a 2022 GMC Yukon Denali and it worked flawless. Tool is roughly same size as others. Comes with thick and sturdy magnetic plates for bigger calipers. Extremely durable for the value. I would recommend this to any entry level mechanic who wants to get an affordable yet quality built tool.

This tool worked for me on the OEM front brake calipers on my 2019 F-150. Very easy to setup and use. It compresses the pistons back in flush, but just barely has enough travel movement to get it. I would prefer to have a little more travel so I’m not maxing out the tool, but it works and got the job done. Fits inside the caliper nicely and compressed both pistons simultaneously. I don’t know how durable it is, but I think it’ll last for me using this every so often. I don’t know if it’d be my go to option for a mechanic shop to use daily, maybe get a different brand for that. Quality is sufficient for a DIYer doing your own brakes at home.

It is an amazing tool that makes compressing the calipers a lot easier than the old way. That said...this particular product is a little finicky and hard to work with. The ratcheting is hit and miss. You have to expand it and then force into the caliper for it to grab and spread. Buy a tool LIKE this one...but not this exact one. It is easier to use than a C-clamp, but much harder than other ones available.

This brake caliper compression tool allows me to put in the caliper quickly. It comes with hanging hooks to hang the caliper to keep it safe while you work. It is heavy duty and it is not an expensive tool so it works.

This is the easier way to push back the pistons when you are replacing your brake pads , the included hooks are a great for hang the calipers while you are working on your brakes . I definitely would recommend

Perfect tool for dual, and quad piston brake calipers. Doesn't fit most rear calipers though, very durable and easy to use. Button magnets I did upgrade due to the original ones being weak. Plates fall of too easy and I did lose all of them after a few drops.
