I recently acquired this tool to simplify the process of compressing the brake pistons on my Tundra, as demonstrated in a video I came across. It’s an excellent tool that should make it effortless to compress the pistons to the desired size. The tool’s size is versatile, accommodating both small Mr brakes and larger pads. It’s quite user-friendly and easy to remove. However, I can’t vouch for its durability since I recently purchased it. Nevertheless, considering its price, it’s an unbeatable deal. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to work on my brakes yet, I’m confident in its effectiveness. I’ll provide an update if it proves to be ineffective. Update: Today, I used this product, and as expected, it worked flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to use, and it successfully compressed the pistons on my truck without any issues. The front had a four piston caliper, while the rear had only one. I am delighted that I decided to give this a try.

It looked to be a good product but single use was very disappointing. The primary wing bent while compressing one caliper. The ratcheting mechanism would not stay locked. Ended up using a good old c clamp to get the job done. Save your fund. This is a cheap construction

This worked great to change the front disc brakes on my 2018 Ford Transit Connect. I like how it functions to push the caliper piston back in to allow the new brake pads to fit. The only negative is the little magnets that hold the larger extensions to the smaller ones pop out because they are not glued so it will be easy to lose them but they include a couple extra in the box. This tool is definitely is quicker and easier than c-clamps or other tools I've used. This is a clever design and very affordable price.

Worked pretty well just now. Bought it for my subaru exiga because I coulda literally hear my brakes. I think it’ll last a good while and it is very easy to use. Makes changing brake pads quicker

Worked way better that some pry bars like i ised to use. A little tricky when using the longer pads. The magnets that hold them on are not very strong.

I like being able to ratchet the piston calipers open. Works better than a c-clamp. The fit and size is good. Looks like it will last.
