I bought this bag to use on occasions when I don’t want to carry my large handbag and want to have my hands free. It’s perfect! The 2 open compartments are just the right size to easily hold phone, glasses case, wallet, folding hairbrush, car keys, etc. There’s a zip compartment on the interior back side and also a divider pocket with a zipper, a slide-in pocket on the exterior back, and 2 slide-in pockets inside. I definitely prefer this to purses that are just one large compartment inside. The depth of the bag (front to back) is what’s unusual and makes it really work well, as opposed to the ones that are only 2-3”. This is a wonderful, roomy purse. Lots of storage areas and all critical items fit with room to spare. My only quibble is the fastener. It's often difficult to close this purse when you're in a hurry. It's not that the fastener doesn't work, it's that it must be aligned perfectly. This is a truly beautiful handbag.
