Description

The MET Downtown MIPS is a truly modern touring helmet, ready for a weekend trek or the daily bicycle lane. The internal air-channeling and large number of vents provide exceptional ventilation. The 360° head belt and lightweight design ensures that there will be no pressure points on the skull. Featuring the MIPS-C2 rotational management system, the Downtown is able to slide against the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. MIPS is engineered to add extra safety to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.

Very comfortable and adjustable. Light weight but secure feeling
Size: Small-Medium Color: White Glossy
Just got back into biking after getting an E Bike allowed me to overcome health obstacles. Haven’t owned a bike helmet in years. Did a ton of research and found this model had excellent reviews both from labs/professionals and owners. It’s one of the most reasonably priced, highly rated helmets. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and secure it felt. Quite an improvement from the helmets that used to be available. Bought one for me and one for my wife. We both like them a lot, which makes getting on the bike much more enjoyable! On top of everything else, they look pretty good, which is to say, not ridiculous like many helmets. Color selection is good as well. None of that should matter that much if the helmet accomplishes its main goal of keeping your noggin safe. Nice that it can do that while looking good. ... show more

Comfortable & Confident in Safety
Size: Small-Medium Color: White Glossy
It fits well, is comfortable, and has good airflow so you don't get too hot. Luckily, I haven't needed to test resilience to a crash yet, but with all the safety features they've used, I have confidence in it. When it comes to safety, I'm happy to get the top of the line, but this helmet didn't break the bank and was good value. It's light and high quality and was easy to adjust. ... show more

Size: Small-Medium Color: White Glossy

Good Budget Helmet Option
Size: Medium-Large Color: Red Glossy
Snagged this after swapping to a bike from a scooter - was using the specialized mode which didn't have nearly enough airflow. This one fixes the airflow problem and fits my large head, but not nearly as comfortably as the mode which is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever owned and felt like it was molded to my head. This one feels a little lumpy which I've gotten used to. Fine for a budget helmet. Still seeking the perfect helmet. I have an upright bike so I still need to tilt my head to get really good airflow on my sweaty skull. ... show more

Fits well
Size: Small-Medium Color: Black Glossy
Purchased 1 for myself and 1 for my wife. Both smalls. Headsizes 57cm and 52cm (i wont say whos is bigger). Small adjusted nicely for both of us. Comfortable to wear, and according to Virginia Tech, a top rated helmet for protecting your noggin.
