It's somewhat smaller overall than I expected from the given dimensions, but I love this bag. I bought the black bedford leather version; it's very pretty and not as harsh or reflective as the black melbourne leather version. This is my fourth Brahmin bag and I have yet to be disappointed by anything they make! It's my second one from Amazon, and it arrived in perfect condition as did the other one, with all the bells and whistles intact.
