I have mixed feelings about this kit. I appreciate the clip at the top to hold the thread ends, but I’m not 100% impressed with the slots at the bottom. Having to lift the thread to loop the strand underneath, the strands would sometimes lift from the holder. But when they stayed, they remained nice and tight. The holder has a little drawer on the side to hold the threads and other accessories. Very convenient for taking the kit on the go. This kit has a nice variety of thread in a rainbow of pretty colors. The buttons are a nice touch, as are the beaded letters. The instructions don’t address how to incorporate the beads/buttons, though, and that would have been useful/helpful. I’d like to be able to weave the beads into the bracelet, rather than slide them on at the end.

I loved making friendship bracelets with I was in middle school! I've tried to teach my child but she gets frustrated with keeping the threads sorted out. This thing is brilliant! The pegs are easy enough to get the floss through but close enough together to hold it securely. The whole kit is made of good sturdy plastic, nothing flimsy. And everything that's supposed to snap together does so nicely. It's very satisfying. :) I really appreciated that it came with everything you need to get started except a pair of scissors, which you hopefully have already. It's definitely a gift-quality kit that would be appropriate for an elementary or middle school kid. My child is now working on her third bracelet today. I'm happy I got this early enough in the summer that there are lots of weeks of vacation left to enjoy hours and hours of crafting. She gives it 5 stars and wants to get another one for a friend's birthday.

Great way to help beat the boredom of the slower summer days. My daughter really likes this and really gets lost in it. It took a little bit of getting used to and figuring out the process but she is 8 and this was right in her wheelhouse. Appreciate that it comes with plenty of string. The directions are decent, not perfect, but also plenty of youtube videos. Stores easily.

Plenty of floss and a nice variety. Hoping to keep my niece's busy when they visit this week... talk them into making their Aunt a nice bracelet!! I checked it out and it is well made and a great design. Love the storage areas - super handy. It should make a lot of bracelet's and of the type that will appeal to older girls. The only thing I would suggest is to add a few clear beads. We have another kit and will be using some of those beads with this. This would make a nice gift for a young teen.

I got three different string bracelet kits to occupy my granddaughters during their summer vacation thru the Vine Program. The kits made it MUCH easier to stabilize the string while making the bracelets. Although this kit was the most expensive, it didn't come with as much string as the other two kits. The girls didn't notice any difference, though, because I had purchased lots of other string separately. I highly recommend this kit for kids and crafters of all ages.

It has instructions to tell you how to make a bracelet, the loom they use makes it easy to hold all your strands, and a lil cubby to hold your string. Highly recommend, exactly as pictured

My daughter loves bracelet making and said this set wasn't quite right. She couldn't put her finger on exactly what was wrong with it but she didn't like it. Coming from a guy that doesn't know any better I think it looks fine. Perhaps this is better suited for beginners than someone that makes lots of bracelets?
