My 5-year-old had a blast with this. I did have to help her with the set up/finish work, but she was able to put the beads on herself. Tying the clasp on is kind of difficult, but once I got the hang of this product, I really liked it! Lots of fun and I think the bracelets look awesome!!

Got this for my daughter's birthday. Right away she started opening all the packages with little beads. Luckily she managed to get majority of them in the compartments without issues. She figured most of it out without any help. I helped her with the last part of getting the strings in and tying everything together. She probably should've got her mother to do it lol. My fat fingers dropped the string and all the little beads went everywhere. While trying to save what I could, I stepped on the open tray of all the extra beads. After I cleaned up my mess, I was sent to the corner while my wife helped and finished the bracelet. My issue was tying the little piece that goes inside the clasps. It's doable but a pain for my fat fingers. ... show more

This kit is nice. It comes with a lot of beads. They seem to be pretty sturdy and hold up well. The container is alright, it doesn't keep the beads in place when moved and shaken around. The "making" part is fun and easy to use. The stringing part was hard for us. The instructions weren't that great. It's literally just some pictures. Trying it figure out how to put the "clasp" beads on was interesting. I figured it out but trying to explain it to kids and have them understand was hard. I ended up showing them several times and they figured it out, but they wasted some elastic in the process. It dosent come with that much elastic. It looks like it comes with more beads than the elastic. Overall, it is a fun project and the bracelets, so far, after 1 week have been holding in nicely. Would make a great gift as long as someone is there to help younger kids with the instructions. I hope this helps! Happy shopping! ... show more
