I purchased the bunk bed for my four grandaughters. It's a set that accommodates all 4 of my granddaughters and saved on space in their bedroom. The trundle bed does not hold a normal size twin mattress because the space between the bottom bunk and mattress is too small. I did order an IKEA bunk bed mattress and it fit nicely. The bottom trundle is also not sturdy as the bottom board is flimsy. I added a bunky board (plywood) and it fixed that problem. On the top bunk the rails stripped as we screwed the bolts in, so the wood looks splintered. I glued a starfish over it so people can't see that. The rails on the top bunk are also very low for a young child with the twin mattress in place. Over all, if I knew all of this before ordering I probably would not have ordered the bed. It would take too much time and effort to take it apart and send it back. After fixing the problems it has made a nice bed for my girls room. ... show more
