Case is perfect - holds the camera securely and has a bit of extra room for small items. I like the silicone cover, but it does make some controls more difficult to use. Not a terrible problem, will just take some time to get use to it.

This is a very nice carrying case that comes with every thing to protect your Canon camera. The color is vibrant and the SX740 fits perfectly in the case. The silicone camera protector fit our camera perfectly-all the cutouts lined up with function and adjustment buttons, tripod and charging port. The hard case is a zipper case which zipped and unzipped without any problem-two sided zipping is definitely a plus for convenience. The hard shell case allowed us to keep the camera in our backpack when not in use without worry of damage from all the stuff we carry along. The case also has a zippered netted compartment to hold miscellaneous items like charging cords and storage cards. In addition, this set does have a lens cover that fit the camera fine. The lanyard strap seemed a little lightweight so we do use it but with caution. Overall, this is a very good value for protection of our camera and it is recommended and our daughter LOVES the color.

This case and cover set did not disappoint in any way! The color (dark/hot pink) was exactly as pictured in the listing- super fun without being tacky. The silicone camera cover fits snugly and is easy to hold, giving extra grip when using your camera. The lens cover holds closed securely, without flapping, yet is still an easy open when you're ready to take a picture. The protective case is really fabulous. Each element of the design and workmanship is top notch. The zippers on both the outside and inside of the car run very smoothly, opening and closing without any snags in the material or teeth. The zipper hardware is made of hearty metal and feels as if it will work properly for a long time. The zipper pulls are am ready to grasp size without being bulky. The inside of the box is lined in a soft, low pile fabric that provides cushioning and does not shed or give off lint. The upper net storage area is a perfect size for your cable and additional cards, and will hold them snugly without losing is shape. It is also easy to place and retrieve your items in and out, without hassle. The elastic band holds your camera in place without being a burden or getting in the way (although it likes to hold on a little bit too much to the silicone cover once in a while- but better for security if dropped.) Overall, I was happily surprised by just how well designed and manufactured this case combo is in every way! (Oh, p.s.- no smell what-so-ever!)

The hard case is very sturdy, with large compartment to fit a Canon PowerShot SX740 that I've been storing in the original packaging box that it came in. The zippered pocket let's me store the flash card, flash card reader, and an extra battery. Although some might find this a crude and too ugly of a carrying case, for an old camera this is a great way to store and carry around in case it is dropped. The camera is a bit heavy and noticeably heavier than my phone that I keep dropping it thinking I don't need to grasp and hold the camera too hard. The case solves my problem.

I have a mark ii g7x and the cause did not fit correctly at all it covered buttons and was loose. The physical carrier case is great but it’s not that deep so you probably can only carry the camera and an adapter. Camera battery does not fit in carrier case if camera is in there.
