Works great, different sizes, last long , all I can say is these are the small sizes, I use I in a quart jar, so, depending on the product you are storing, figure out, quart jar or gallon jars the size of the packet, if bigger space you can use more than one, anyway, check your products storage temperature as well, that’s important, and depending on how often you open it, that has a lot to do with how long it will last.

For less than $20 you can get 10 boveda humidity control packs. Each pack can easily last 3-6 months. Not gonna get this high of quality humidity packs anywhere else for the same price.

Bottom Line: These are the ONLY humidification packs/devices you should be using in your humidor/tupperdore/jaradore I’ve been using these packs for over a year. I bought the 8-gram packs because I decided not to use a traditional wooden humidor for my cigars but two mason jars instead and these fit really easily into them. I actually split it in half, 5 packs in each jar, and it’s been perfect. These two-way humidification packs are the easiest, most accurate way to humidify your humidor of choice; you literally just drop them in, forget about them and replace them when they begin to harden. No constant calibration is required, no water, no sponges, nothing. I’ve had the same 10-packs for over a year and I still haven’t had to change them out. I’m assuming this has to do with me using airtight jars as opposed to wooden boxes, so there is no humidity loss due to transference through the wood-just whenever I open up the jar and decide to smoke a stogie. Don’t be intimidated to get into cigars by the maintenance required. These packs make it easy. Buy a mason jar or airtight Tupperware, buy these packs, and that’s it. Just keep your DIY humidor out of direct sunlight and away from large temperature fluctuation and you’re good to go.
