    • Pocket material is thin, shorts are not very sturdy, but quite comfortable and fit right.

On the plusses, the shorts fit well and are comfortable. The down side is that the material used for the 'regular" pockets is very thin, my front pockets developed a hole very quickly, so I ended up having my keys and other items fall right out, and a hole wore in the back pocket in the spot where I keep my wallet. This wear happened faster than with other shorts, so it was an unpleasant surprise. They used a very thin white material for front pockets (not the cargo pockets) that was thinner than that used on my jeans and other pants by competing manufacturers. ... show more

These shorts are made of thin material, but not extraordinarily thin. They are comfortable. I guess the way to save money now is to make clothes out of the thinner material. These are not the old cargo shorts you might be used to, made 10 years ago.

I have been looking for a replacement for the Cabela's Redhead cargo shorts after they discontinued them in plus sizes. I thought this might be a good replacement. Instead I found that if I wear these as I normally would they fit across my thighs like rubber bands. Even worse though, they crotch is at my knees nearly. If you pulled them up where the crotch was in the correct location you'd be wearing your belt under your arms. ... show more
