Adding this in place of Cal Mag after the 3rd week in bloom provides the necessary magnesium, contains no nitrogen like most cal mags do, and adds a little sweetness to the fragrance of the nutrient mix. I can't begin to explain the beautiful, complex, sweet, pungent, berry tart aromas that have developed with the use of this product. I love it, and would certainly use this again over any other brand sweet I have used. Do note that the product has magnesium as well. Thanks botanicare.
