I just started this Pink Stork brand Omega-3 product. In particular they have marketed this product for women's use. What you are getting is a non-GMO, high EPA DHA Omega 3 supplement that is sourced purely from clean, wild caught fish from certified sustainable fisheries. It is also made here in the USA in cGMP-certified facilities and third-party tested for quality and purity. It is convenient and easy to take a serving of 2 easy to swallow soft gels with a beverage and a meal. What you are getting is 1080 mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids providing 650 mg of DHA and 260 mg of EPA. They claim and I found that it gives me no fishy aftertaste. While this is a high quality product, according to the company Pink Stork's website, their mission is to encourage, inspire, and strengthen women, guided by God’s love and compassion. Bottle had a berry smell, capsules didn't have any taste or aftertaste. I did find the softgels a bit hard to swallow due to the size/shape? They were rounder than my usual more oval supplements and that seem to make it a bit harder to take and I felt like it was a bit stuck in my throat for a bit. Softgels did not upset my stomach. For the price, it seems like a decent product but since I did not find them the easiest to take, it feels like chore to take 2 a day.

I don't know why the target market for this product is women. My doctor recommends that I take fish oil to improve a few areas of my health.... and I'm a man. As far as I can tell, there isn't anything in this product that is exclusively for women. So, it might just be a marketing decision. In any event. These gel-caps are smaller than other fish oil gel-caps that I've taken. You have to take 2 to get the same dose as the larger. But taking two smaller gel-caps is easier than taking one large one. So, these gel-caps are a bit easier to swallow. I haven't notice any odd smell and I can't say that I've noticed any weird taste. In fact, I can't smell or taste anything.

So far, so good. No ill effects noticed. I can't tell you what to take, but if this is something you do and are looking for an alternative to your regular, it seems to be a good product.

Good stuff! It has a very nice ratio of dha:epa making it dha dominant which according to current research is ideal. Moreover the soft gels are fairly small and easy to swallow. What's more - they smell good! Most fish oil supplements either smell fishy or slightly fishy but this smells good. Like fruit. It seems ethically made and is overall a high quality supplement. My wife loves it.

The last several years, I've been rotating between fish oil and algae oil for my daily omega-3 consumption. In prior years, I had been a loyal customer of Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega (sourced from fish oil) and this product from Pink Stork is a reminder of the existence of many quality alternatives. A lot of different opinions exist as to how much and at what ratio EPA and DHA should be consumed daily, so omega-3 supplements are typically differentiated by these attributes, as well as the sources and how these are processed. The aforementioned Nordic Naturals product uses a 1.44:1 EPA to DHA ratio, and this product from Pure Formulas uses a very different 0.40:1 EPA to DHA ratio. EPA provides anti-inflammatory effects, and DHA boosts brain health. Put differently, EPA is considered more of a "neck-down" omega-3 and DHA is considered more of a "neck-up" omega-3. When choosing an omega-3 product, also always remember to pay attention to the number of capsules required to provide the amount of EPA and DHA shown in the supplement facts. The main reasons I ordered this product are that it specifies that anchovies are the sole source of fish oil, unlike other products which aren't as transparent, and that the labeling claims that "this product was prayed for" and that Pink Stork is "guided by God's love and compassion", but generally speaking this product is largely a commodity without any real differentiators. And because this product doesn't specify the form of omega-3, it's likely that what's provided is the ethyl ester (EE) form of omega-3 rather than the higher quality re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) or TG alternatives. Because omega-3 products vary so much, and there's some uncertainty as to which are truly the best, I rotate between different brands and omega-3 forms when it comes to fish oil.

What I really love about these is that they out this what shaped flavor thing inside the bottle so all the capsules smell and taste great on the outside. Tastes great going down. The capsules are medium large sized but easy to swallow. I feel fine after consuming them. The oil is sourced from anchovies and I don’t think it said it’s from the Nordic sea so I don’t know how awesome the quality is, but they’re good enough!
