First of all, if your looking for something loud/powerful. This isn't it ! Claims to have a 1000 watts of power. Nope! I just installed an MTX system in my buddy's 900 ranger today. It Included 2 - 6.5" 2way tower speakers with a 200 watt class D ADJUSTABLE amp with Bluetooth and Bluetooth tooth controls. Very loud! ๐Ÿ‘Couldn't hardly stand it! ๐Ÿ‘Impressive to both of us! Held memory of last volume setting and song at the same spot. Then came my delivery man about 30 minutes after we finished installing the MTX system. It was my boss 46". We unpackaged it and pre hooked it up to test it and to see if it was what they claim. So glad we did! It started up, paired easily and music came on. We went to turn it up thinking it would be loud just like the MTX system if not louder because after all, this so called bad boy has 4 - 6.5 2 way speakers, 1 - 8" sub and a 1000 watt class D amp. Nope! It was already all the way up. That's where the volume starts all the way up every time. Not even close to the power/loudness. About maybe half as loud as the MTX. My buddy ask me if we could install an amp in front of the amp to help it. And I said probably but not going to. And shouldn't have to. But sound quality was pretty good. Just no power! We opened the sound bar and there was no power adjustments ๐Ÿ‘Ž On that "1000 watt amp" By the way the MTX system way $75 cheaper. So, just like I told my buddy before it arrived. It's probably not all that. But it had good features and because it was more expensive then some of the brand name sound bars, is why I tried it out. So you may want to stick with the brand names MTX, Rockford Fostgate, Kicker ect. We un-hooked it packaged it back up and it's going back. So if your just looking for some noise not a lot. This is for you. I like to have the power, rather to much, instead of not enough. This product we think is miss leading. Not even sure what the amp size is? 4 of my friends that heard it. They think the same thing. This product should be priced around $200/250 Maybe $300. Hopefully this helps y'all out! ... show more

I had this speaker system mounted in my 2018 Polaris General, the sound is good overall. However the remote is terrible! It connects then disconnects for no reason or a slight bump. I give it a tap with the palm of my hand and I'm good to go until I hit another slight bump, then it disconnects again. I have checked and rechecked all my connections and all of them are good. ... show more

This is a great product, the only issue I had was this was the installation was a bit cumbersome. The sound quality is great for the price point and being 5 different sound settings is very nice to go from high bass to anywhere In between. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to have a great stereo system in you atv or golf cart. Synced up very easily with my phone and can easily be heard over my UTV going 50 mph. Update, I have added a 10 inch Kicker sub kicker amp and 2 6.5 jbl speakers and was easy to sync up just needed other set of RC cables and makes this one heck of a system and right around $900 for everything including amp kit. ... show more

The installation instructions do NOT give step by step instruction. In fact, several mounting items are not pictured or even mentioned. If you're not mechanically inclined don't attempt to do it yourself. Otherwise, the unit sounds great and the Blue tooth controller paired easily, I'd recommend it.

I spent HOURS installing this and I HATE it. It has an incredibly loud buzzing noise the entire time my UTV is turned on. It sounds like one speaker is blown and the bass is terrible While the brackets fit great, nothing else about this is good. What can I do???

    • Yamaha Viking boss stereo review.
Style: 46" Overhead System
I just finished installing this on my Yamaha Viking VI. I was able to hang it above the back seats in between the vertical tubing for the roll cage. Instead of over head, after I rotated the speaker bar once it was installed this allowed for the speakers to face forward. I ran all of the wiring inside the tubing causing me to have to cut the end off the wiring horness and extend it by splicing in new wire. I ran both hot leads from the speaker bar and the dash controller to a rocker switch that turns the radio on and off even with the key off. It is very loud and has clear sound. I turned the volume on it all the way up before I connected my phone to it and had the volume all the way down on my phone when I connected the two then turn the volume up on my phone to get it as loud as I think it will go. It measured over 110 decibels that will compare to how loud it is in a rock concert. The Bluetooth connection was very strong also when I realized I had walked away from it with my phone with me I was at least 40 yards away and it was still playing. I have read the other reviews on here and all of the screws I was sent worked just fine for now. Not sure how the other review that said it wasn't very loud was tested. Once I took the Viking for a test drive with it I was extremely satisfied with the sound, look, and how simple it is to operate. I will update this review once the 1 year warranty expires and let everyone know how it did over that year. Well its getting close to 2 years old now and it still works just as good as new. I have sprayed water all over it multiple times when cleaning and it hasn't caused any issues. ... show more
