Good Product for Small Area
I bought this to put around the bottom(s) of my grapevine arbor. Grass would grow so thick at the bottom and was hard to keep cut back. So this spring I first laid cardboard down, then cut this material in lengths to fit around my arbor ends, finally using metal stakes to hold it all down. I can see already this will solve my grass issue and make the area much neater. I do wish you got a few feet more for the money.

Thick, good quality
Just placed this as an edge to my garden. Easy to lay down - i used metal staples/stakes about every 20 inches (it wanted to roll a bit at edges amd i didnt want the lawn mower to catch it.) It got wet when i watered and the next day it look like it stretched and was now rippling. So i pulled up the stakes and relaid it out. Some of the corners ripped while i was pulling it, but it should still work. I did lay cardboard/newspaper under it, as another suggested. Im confident this will keep out the weeds and grass.

A Great Gardening Touch
This is the finishing touch i needed for my front flower bed. I decided to try thist ype of edging after installing edging along a brick walk. I also added two potted plants as well as red cedar mulch and red rubber mulch. I underestimated the amount of border I need. Therefore I have ordered an addition roll of the 10'x 9" roll. The product is great, but initially I received the roll with my first order. (1 roll was only 6" wide). I needed the wider size 9". it was replaced in less than a week. The only problem I had with this was that I wanted to install it while the soil was wet. When i start a project, I can finish very quickly if I have all the materials I need. i will send photos after I receive the last roll I ordered. This is a beautiful and useful garden product.

does not prevent grass growth very well.
Not easy for me to cut and I realized that grass can grow through very easily so I returned.

won't stop bermuda grass
Pros: easy to use and neatens up the look of the border around my raised bed. Unfortunately, it is no match for bermuda grass--it just goes right on through it like it's nothing. Trying to keep the bermuda out of my raised bed is the main reason I got this. If you just have average weeds it'll probably work fine.

Border is great only problem is it is wider than I would like but it cuts fairly easy so I just trimmed mine down. Wish it came in 4" width. I sprayed for weeds before putting it down and haven't seen one weed . I think it wil be great.

Tough but not strong
The material is dense and requires a hammer to drive the U staples through it, but once stapled in place, any movement or adjustment causes the material to rip easily.

Dig a trench
I have ordered this product 3x this session. I am cutting it in half, 4 1/2 inches and using it as a mowing border to the grass. Before I lay it, I remove the grass to create kinda of a trench, and fasten it down with the metal staples every 1 ft or longer depending on whether it was straight or a curve. I added the mulch across the bed including the weed mat. Hubby is able to glide over the edging without any problems. Very Happy with product. I have Used the rubber edger next to the chain link fence. It has been 3-4 years and noticed that the trumpet vine pierced it in one place.
