The media could not be loaded. Bose quality construction and sound. Now this has some bass. 🤙 In the field of mini speakers this one actually has some bass. Pair 2 of them together and it starts to rival some of the best bluetooth speakers out there in the mid class. The sound quality is good. Connectivity is quick n easy pairing is fast with zero fuss. You don't need the app to do anything. 👍Haven't experienced much latency issues. There might be a fraction here or there but nothing that is drastically noticeable. Nice rubberized texture button press is good and the strap looks like it won't secure that well but it does. The way it hooks on feels easy and lose but it's not its secure. 🤔 I threw in a pic next to a JBL Go 2 for size comparison. This has more bass but costs 3xs more than the JBLs which also sound good but don't quite have as much deep bass as this does. The $99 price is certainly better than the original price when it came out but it's still a little high. If you see this sucker on sale don't hesitate and buy 2. The small compact size is really convenient. Battery life is ok charge time is ok too nothing extraordinary or wonky. Although this is waterproof watch out because it does not float. 😕 Overall this has the satisfying bass I was looking for in this type of speaker and it is completely worth purchasing in this form factor. 😎 ... show more

Wow, what a nice speaker! I bought it used, but it looks brand new and was fully sealed. $70, that's a steal for a Bose speaker. The sound is incredible for such a little guy! Also great that it is waterproof, though I haven't actually tested it. I may buy the little stand for it as it doesn't naturally sit upright. Also, pay no attention to the instructions that tell you download an app to connect it to your phone ....not at all necessary! Just open your Bluetooth on your phone and hold down the bluetooth button on the top of the speaker opposite the on/off button until it shows up on your phone. Then pair as you normally would. I guess my only complaint is the old style charging port. Would have been nice if it were a C port. But it came with the cable. We have friends with the larger speaker and this sounds just as good and has more volume than I would ever need. Great find! ... show more

This speaker has been great. Getting a Bose product for the price point was nice. The speaker has nice range on an unobstructed line of sight, and works well around corners if you have your phone in your pocket. The time to full charge is reasonable, but the battery life really stands out. I primarily use it for golf and it's lasted 4 rounds in a weekend. You can even link multiple units. The size makes it very portable and the strap is great for attaching to the golf cart. You won't be disappointed in the sound. ... show more

Full transparency - I'm a huge Bose fan. It wasn't until later in life that I was able to afford their products, but now given the choice I prefer to go with Bose. This little speaker is just the latest in my history of Bose products. I had an older Bose Sound Link Mini that worked well but was starting to show its age. It was also a bit clunky and very, very delicate. I was perusing Amazon and came across this little gem and bought one for my wife. She was so impressed with hers that I bought one for me. What I like - well, obviously, it's Bose. The sound is crisp and rich in replicating lows and highs and is characteristic Bose. Obviously bass is somewhat less than other speakers, but for this size speaker the sound is incredible and I'm not a huge fan of "thumpy" bass anyway. I also like the portability. I used the strap to attach the speaker to my belt while doing my evening walk at work and loved that I was able to listen to my MP3 player without having to worry about headphones and potentially getting hit by some of the maintenance vehicles in the factory. I like the Bose app that indicates remaining battery life and bluetooth connections. I'm sure I'm only scratching the surface with the available features, but for what I use it for I'm extremely pleased. As awesome as this little gem is, not all is perfect. There are some issues with the speaker wanting to connect to everything in sight. I love that you can connect to two gadgets simultaneously, but sometimes I don't want that feature and only want one. It takes a little doing but it can connect to just the one, but it's not intuitive. Not a deal breaker. Also there is no feature to plug in an analog MP3 player or device, but since I'm using the bluetooth capability as my excuse to the Mrs. for upgrading my portable capability that really is a non-issue. I've only had the speaker a very short time, but already love it. At some point I would like to test the stereo feature when you connect two speakers to one device, but at the moment my wife and I love having our own discrete speakers. Battery life is rated at 6 hours, but anecdotally it seems to last longer than that. I also don't blast my music at loud volume, so I'm not certain if there's a correlation there. I may have to update my review at a later date after I collect more data and get more enjoyment from the speaker. In summary, the buyer should know that this is what it is...a small, portable and extremely capable Bose speaker. If you're looking for incredibly high highs and rap lows, this may not fill your bill. But if you like your music on the go and with pleasant sound, this is your recommended default. ... show more

I've owned other Bose products and they are decent sounding and fairly durable. Prior to purchasing purchasing this I had a tribit Bluetooth speaker. The tri-bit was a similar design with the strap and set up features and honestly was cheaper and sounded much better with deeper and richer Bass. I return the private because after about 4 months it wouldn't take a charge and it became difficult to get a hold of the company. It does come with a 2-year warranty but what good is it if you can't contact the company. So Amazon allowed me to return it so I purchase this Bose in its place. The quality is the same and about what I would expect for a Bose speaker. The volume and depth of the music is not really there. It immediately pairs no problem with the phone. It lasts at least 8 hours. It's light and compact and the strap feature is nice because it can go on a lot of different things backpacks, bicycle handlebars motorcycle handlebars and other various things. It's definitely waterproof as I dropped it in the pool while it was on and no ill effects. It charges fairly quickly and overall it works well. ... show more
