1 year ago I purchased some generic, noise cancelling earbuds for a long-haul flight (the kind with the wire, not bluetooth). They advertised comfortable memory phone, excellent sound and were only $30, so I figured it was worth a try - BOY WAS I WRONG! Even with the volume turned up, I could barely hear what I was watching, over the airplane noises and also they were indescribably uncomfortable. Fast forward 1 year, we had another long-haul flight trip planned and there was NO WAY I was using those ear buds again. I figured I would try out these Bose ones (bought 2 pairs, one for myself and one for my husband), worse case scenario is I don't like them either and can return them. I AM SO GLAD I SPLURGED AND BOUGHT THESE!!! They are very easy to pack in a carryon bag and come with a nice, slim profile carrying case. The ear coverings are like clouds surrounding your ears - so soft and comfortable, even after a 10 hour flight! The noise cancelling is insanely good - there was a baby crying 5 rows behind us and I didn't even notice until I took my headphones off to speak to the flight attendant. The sound quality is crystal clear (at least for the movies and netflix shows I had downloaded). I noticed that the noise cancelling works better when using bluetooth instead of the included cord, but I'm a-ok with that! I could not possibly give these headphones a higher recommendation. I am very picky when it come to headphones but these are really comfortable and they don’t give me headaches. I have a lot of ear piercings but the headphones are big enough that they don’t get agitated while wearing them, but the headphones still look sleek and cool. The noise cancellation is good, comparable to AirPods pro except maybe a bit better. The audio quality is a little bit less nice than with AirPods Pro but its not bad by any means. (I use +10 bass, -1 mid, +treble). The white color is really nice because it’s off white while not being too cream colored. I use a digital softphone for work and the headphones work perfectly when paired to my laptop, and the customers can hear me very clearly through the headphones mic. I really like these headphones, they are refurbished (for $100 cheaper) but they look and preform as exactly brand new. ... show more

When you want to hear the symphony, but in your own cozy surroundings! You can literally hear the flute player breathe BEFORE he starts playing! Every single note is defined. Wanna hear Kendrick Lamar? Hear him on these. THEN you will do his music right. Do you know how incredible these headphones are? AMAZING! My family were skeptics, until I let them hear through mine. Now they are in awe. I really don't think I can describe how amazing these headphones are and really do it any justice. And once you hear this quality..there is no going back. They say you can't unsee Paris...well, you can't unhear Bose. You can try to hear through others, but their shortcomings will become so blatantly apparent it will be hard to ignore. The right ear speaker never worked. When I looked, there is excessive glue in and around the speaker and the serial number has been removed. I bought these as a Christmas present, so didn't find out there was a problem until the return window was closed and I have found no available support.

Battery Life is ok. It charges really fast. Great audio experience. I have small ears, yet the small ear cups are hot and uncomfortable after a while. Microphone sucks.
