  • Its kinda cool kinda stupid
Style: Glasses Color: Black
The benefits are there and are good like how it does not damage your hearing, you have situational awareness and they are polarized so that is a plus. However they are much larger than normal glasses and almost look like inspector gadget glasses. For the price tag you can get amazing glasses that really have all the features except audio. I expect more from bose considering its: - all plastic including the hinge for $250 - has random audio glitches that sound like a pig getting ramrodded - will randomly disconnect from my phone in the middle of a podcast - overall cheaply made, audio pretty decent but not worth it at all ... show more

  • Worse than 1st gen...
Style: Glasses Color: Black
I am a big fan of Bose and very happy with my Bose Frames Alto (1st gen). To me, Tenor is so so. Its glossy finish looks cheap, it sounds worse (more base but lack of treble) and it does not support head turning volume control which is my favorite feature on 1st gen. Extended battery time might be the only thing I like about 2nd generation. Come on Bose.. You can do better than this!! ... show more

  • Fair enough, but not ready for prime time.
Style: Glasses Color: Black
I purchased these for my daily wear prescription glasses. The weight is a little heavier than I am a custom too, but I can still wear them all day with minimal distraction. I wanted them for video meetings I have during the day, but using a standard Windows 10 computer with bluetooth the glasses are not recognized as a headphone, so the do not connect as a mic or speaker, so they do not work for my son initial primary reason I purchased them. I have many higher end wireless headsets for these types meetings, and the Bose seem to to have very rudimentary software. Only connect to one device at a time, need to "re-pair" each time you switch devices, which is anoying to say the least. Battery life is fair, nothing spectacular. But if all you are doing is putting them on for a few hours a day you will be fine. Sound quality is what you would expect from something like this, fair to good, but obviously don't expect the same sound quality as you would get from a full can set of headphones. I can call using the glasses and the microphone seems to have some noise cancelling technology to clean up the background. These are definitely made for consumers that don't have high expectations and multiple practical use cases. I will keep these because of the investment I have into them with my prescription lenses, but I will not be buying a second pair. The software is not up to today's standards for the price, you are simply buying a name, for a product that seems not up to the standards I would expect from this company. ... show more

  • 5 Stars
Style: Glasses Color: Black
I returned the Alto frames and got these for my husband instead. The complaints about this product is basically user error. Volume control works as does the off feature. The instructions give you two ways to turn off the glasses. Either hold the button or flip the frames upside down. It's not rocket science. My husband loves his frames. I have the Soprano frames and love mine as well. ... show more

  • Ok... But....
Style: Glasses Color: Black
I love them and use them everyday. They are stylish, and pretty durable. I've dropped them a few times without problem except to scratch the lens 😟 UPDATE: When I inquired about replacing the scratched lens after nearly a year, they sent me a new pair of glasses! Can't beat that service!! The major problem is that they are not loud enough. Partly that's because I sometimes walk near a loud highway but I can't hear my audio book. It's sometimes not even loud enough sitting in Starbucks! So I sadly have to use another set of BT earplugs. 😟 ... show more

  • The perfect (and safer) replacement for AirPods while biking...
Style: Glasses Color: Black
Good looking sunglasses that have surprisingly great audio for listening to podcasts or music that is a great replacement for previous in-ear solutions. I am now much more alert whether biking or walking and not oblivious to the busy traffic around you. They were a breeze to setup with my iPhone and easy to charge as well. Battery life is solid-longer than I'll be biking. Not the cheapest, but for the dual delivery of sunglasses and sound- it is the purchase I didn't know I needed that I cannot live without. Los Angeles can be pretty sketchy for street biking and headphones was always a huge risk that was not worth taking. Enter the Bose Frames Tenor- and now I bike in safety...and you get sunglasses to boot! ... show more

  • Not usable in a real world enviroment
Style: Glasses Color: Black
This is a great idea. That being said the sound is terrible for phone calls. Absolutely terrible. If you are listening to music and switch to a call, you are screwed. You can barely hear the person on the phone. Even for music wearing it in a park or areas outside with significant noise.... this doesn’t work well. Even wearing at Starbucks, it didnt perform well. I am curious why they charge so much for such a mediocre product If the speakers were doubled from 2 to 4..... this is a great idea ... show more
