Description

Without sound, they’re just sunglasses. Thoughtfully refined and strikingly elegant, the latest Bose sunglasses are here. Bose Frames Tenor are made for the modern icon, featuring polarized lenses and premium craftsmanship, while miniaturized Bose speakers hidden in the temples produce sound you’d never expect from sunglasses. It’s a jaw-dropping audio-sunglasses experience that leaves you free to engage with the world around you, all while discreetly listening to music. Crafted from ultra-modern materials, like smooth-as-silk nylon frames and a High-Gloss Black finish, these rectangular Bluetooth sunglasses feature a more comfortable fit, perfect for a wide range of face shapes. The included polarized lenses block up to 99% of UVA/B rays and are shatter and scratch resistant. And there are intuitive touch controls. Swipe the right temple to adjust the volume, double tap to access Siri or Google Assistant, or simply place your music sunglasses upside down to turn them off. These luxurious Bluetooth sunglasses play for up to 5.5 hours at a time and fully charge in one hour. An advanced mic system focuses on your voice while reducing the sound of wind and other noise around you for crystal-clear calls. And they’re prescription (Rx) ready. Accessory Mirrored Silver or Mirrored Blue Bose Lenses are available and easily interchanged for a look that’s all your own. The dimensions for Bose Frames Tenor style are: Lens Width: 55 mm | Bridge Width: 18 mm | Temple Length: 155 mm | Temple Width: 143 mm.

  • Great sound quality from sunglasses! Product was as advertised!
Came as described! It came from a liquidation place but that's to be expected from discontinued sunglasses. All the packaging was in the box and sunglasses have no signs of use at all! The only thing that sucks is there was only glossy black and not matt black (only glossy black was made). Pairing was very easy with the BOSE app and came 80% charged out of box! Ready to listen and use! Can't wait to get some more lenses for these to use as blue-light as well! Sound Quality: - Very good treble and mid range. Not much bass but you can definitely tell its there. - I can still hear my environment around me even when playing music of watching a YouTube videos Build Quality: - Kind of cheap feeling for expensive sunglasses (due to glossy finish) - Speakers have metal grill to protect from debris and water - Lenses were in great shape, polarizing for bright sunny days - Definitely a FINGER PRINT MAGNET (cloth included to wipe away the finger prints) Disclaimer: Package was opened before taking photos by me ... show more

  • The perfect (and safer) replacement for AirPods while biking...
Good looking sunglasses that have surprisingly great audio for listening to podcasts or music that is a great replacement for previous in-ear solutions. I am now much more alert whether biking or walking and not oblivious to the busy traffic around you. They were a breeze to setup with my iPhone and easy to charge as well. Battery life is solid-longer than I'll be biking. Not the cheapest, but for the dual delivery of sunglasses and sound- it is the purchase I didn't know I needed that I cannot live without. Los Angeles can be pretty sketchy for street biking and headphones was always a huge risk that was not worth taking. Enter the Bose Frames Tenor- and now I bike in safety...and you get sunglasses to boot! ... show more

  • Amazing sound!
This is one of those rare luxury purchases that is very practical. You can get these fitted for prescription lens. First off, every few months Bose puts these on sale everywhere for 1/2 off ($125), That is about the same price as a regular pair of prescription frames. Earbuds are very uncomfortable for me, these are a very nice alternative. I have a huge size 8 head, although these are a bit snug they do not look too small for my face. UPDATE: I fitted them for prescription lens, I got them done at LensCrafters for approx. $400. It's kinda like a reverse Superman, I get superhuman vision and hearing when I put my glasses ON. ... show more

  • Great for outdoor activities
The Bose frames are perfect to use when listening to music while walking or running outdoors. I've walked 1-2 miles with these and the music comes through crystal clear, while at the same time, I can hear if there's a car coming. I have a small face and a flat nose so these feel like they're going to fall off my face, but they don't. The sides that go around your ears bend a little bit inward at the ends, so the glasses stay put while walking. I can even look down and the glasses won't fall off. The battery life on these are pretty good. I use up about 10% of power each time I use them. I haven't tried making/taking calls with Bose frames so I'm not sure how well they work when speaking. The Bose Frames are easy to pair. Just open them up, turn them on by holding the Power Button and make sure that the Bluetooth on your device is turned on. To turn off the Bose frames, just close them. One big drawback of the Bose Frames is that you can't adjust the volume on them. You will need to use the volume control on your device. You CAN, however, play, pause, go backward/forward on the frames. It's all dependent on how many times you press the button. Another drawback is that since these are sunglasses, they can only be used on sunny days. I wouldn't use them when it's cloudy and definitely not when it's dark. Overall, I recommend these glasses because they provide great sound without blocking out the sound of any passing cars. ... show more

  • Great alternative to Ear Pods
I bought these at the start of the year as a part of my personal interest. My work has great insurance and benefits so i was able to take these glasses to myeyedoctor and they helped me to place some transitional lenses in these. At this point i have 3 bose frames with different perscription lenses in each. This new version of the frames works fantastic compared to the old pair that at full blast could only last 3 hours, where this one last 6 hours at full blast. And even more important to me is how it handles the power, at work now ive left these glasses powered on through a 9 hour work day and theyve lasted the entire day because i was not playing music constantly and only when i had a moment to sit down. If you are casually listening to music through the day they are perfect! Awesome value and when i got them too they were on sale for cheaper than my last set of frames. ... show more

  • Worth it.
Use them daily while in the office and needing to walks between our work buildings. Being able to listen to music and nobody knows is great. Phone calls are a breeze to stay connected as well. Sound quality is great (dont expect bass obviously haha) but clarity here is important. Swapped lenses for blue light filters(again like to use inside mostly) and the see things fit my need. Features- people tell me I look like Clark Kent(superman) Only downsides - special charging cord and they are quite large. ... show more
