Securely clip your headset control in an easily accessible location. Maintain a clean, safe, organized cockpit. please note this product is made using additive manufacturing (3D printing) and as a result features surface artifacts (layer lines, seams, etc) due to the manufacturing process. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove grease, hand oils, and debris from surface prior to mounting.

I bought this to use in my RV-7A which has very little room in the cockpit and so the controller for my wife's Bose headset is always getting in her way. This seems to be a well made product but it does fit the controller a little more tightly than I would like. We take the headset out of the plane between flights and the controller was just too hard to get in and out of the holder for my likes. The tightness was remedied in less than 2 minutes by sanding the gripping edges lightly with sand paper. Have not mounted the holder in the plane yet but suspect the adhesive provided will prove adequate and if not I plan to mount the holder semi-permanently with silicone glue or maybe with industrial strength sticky back Velcro (yes- that's a thing and the adhesive on that stuff is amazing!). ... show more

    • Great idea—brilliant!
This solves an annoying problem. I mounted mine above and perpendicular to the factory headset jacks, and I no longer have the thing dangling, and I don’t have to clip anything to my shirt. Plus, having it in my field of vision reminds me to turn it off after I use it.

This is easy to install and use. The only downside is they are fairly fragile. One bump without the transceiver and it is broken and unusable.

Update: Brought it to the plane and just could not see installing it. Decided to return: Fitment was too tight, it scratches the headset controller housing and has a rough manufacturing appearance. Original review: This just arrived and I am giving it 3 stars based on my initial impression. I may revise the rating up or down later after I try it out in the plane. The finish of this product is not high quality. It must have come out of a 3D printer because it looks and feels rough in several areas. The fit is really tight for my A20 controller. It is already putting scratches on the sides of the controller when placing it in or removing it out. I'm also concerned that when it is installed in the plane the tight fit will eventually cause the holder to detach from the mounting surface when removing the comtroller.     • Too Tight and adhesive fails
I bought this to hold the sound control for my Bose A20 headset. The cradle is too tight, you have to force the top edge of the control unit in and it’s scraping against the sides when it does that, it’s not an easy fit. Also, the included adhesive sucks - I cleaned an area on my side plastics, put it on, held it firmly for awhile and within 5 days it had failed and fallen off. Now I can’t get it to stay even for an hour. ... show more

Looks great, can’t wait to put in the plane! Should be a great solution to a floppy battery box. Comes with sticky strip on back already
