    • Good, but why does a brand new kit look used ??? Why ?
Same issue with yet another Bosch combo kit. Why does a brand new sealed package look used inside ? All equipment work OK but does it have wood chips and dirt and looks visibly used ? I haven't returned it because that would be a waste of time and energy for everyone but it does bug me. Is this because Bosch is actually subjecting all tools through a process of Quality Assurance and that's what the used feel comes from (QA checking the products to ensure they work?). Has anyone noticed this ? ... show more

I gave four stars for value for money. I bought this set “renewed” for the same price that the reciprocating saw kit usually runs. That price is a very good value with the other tools included. There seemed to be a shiny, oily residue on the soft rubber parts of the tools. I had not noticed it on the other Bosch cordless tools that I have bought. That didn’t seem like it warranted a star deduction, and it seems to have gone away on its own everything works great, and I am very impressed with the power of the little reciprocating saw. I used it to cut a 3/8” steel machine screw that would have been hard to reach with a larger tool. ... show more

    • Super handy - smaller and light, I used them all day without getting tired
I could tell that my huge strong he-man neighbor was sort of coveting these smaller-sized power tools of mine, because the trim size is so handy and could fit in tight spots better and without a gigantic heavy battery I used them literally all day without getting tired. I love these little things, definitely good for people with small hands (like me) and who do not need a monster sized battery. The saw is great, the blades are easy to change out. The drill has no chuck, yay, and is a really little performer. I have not used the light so cannot comment on that. The bag is very sturdy besides being sharp looking. No pun intended, really. I think anyone of any size/strength would like these for the handiness and convenience, but they are truly excellent if you have smaller hands and would like a lighter tool or something more portable than typical. ... show more
