Included is the GDX18V-1800 two-in-one cordless impact driver/wrench for use with bits and sockets. It does two jobs with one tool and goes from impact wrench to impact driver fast. The GSB18V-490 1/2 In. Hammer Drill/Driver is engineered for tough applications (such as metal or masonry), providing 490 In.-Lbs. of torque. The Bosch CRS180 Reciprocating Saw delivers an efficient 1-1/8 In. stroke with up to 2,700 SPM. It weighs only 6.35 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery), great for overhead work. Its Lockjaw blade-change system provides fast blade change. The CCS180 circ saw’s ergonomic main handle and auxiliary handle make it comfortable to use for extended periods. The saw's main handle is angled for ease in pushing the saw forward, Using a 6-1/2 In. circular saw blade, this saw cuts through 2 In. at 90 degrees and cuts through 2x (“two by”) material across entire bevel range. This tool set is a great homeowner tool set with a great price point. The set works well and comes with everything to make it a good set. The batteries last, and seem to be very efficient. All the tools seem to have plenty of power, and perform as well or better than a similar Ryobi kit I used. The chuck on the impact driver is handy, and ideal for multi-function use. Fairly nice and quiet tools, and perform similarly to other tools I use or have used. I think the combo impact driver design is a neat idea that gives you two tools in one unit. The drill is a drill, driver, hammer drill, and performed on par with another brand of cordless hammer drill I have. I tried running 1/2 inch lag bolt into a 2X4 with the impact which put it in with no issues. I also was able to remove a car lug nuts, and verified that appears max torque this had was 140FT-LB. Not as powerful as the large ones but decent for this unit. The reciprocating saw works well and performed on par with similar tools, I liked the way I could hold it and use it. This recip saw apears to really only have two speeds and not really any variable speed past that. The insert lock blade holder is a nice idea. The batteries charged fairly quickly in roughly an hour perhaps less. Batteries also have indicators on them too and the battery lock works well, though the button is sort of awkward at times to get a good grip to press. The flashlight seems decent though I don't think as bright as some other tool kit lights i have worked with. The Drill works well and has lots of torque but I think this really needs a second handle like any other larger 1/2-inch drill usually has. This thing on a hole saw you hit a nail or it binds up it's probably going to pull out of your hands and try and spin around more once you let go. Drill like this and no second handle with this kind of torque and no selectable limit for drill mode is kind of dangerous. The Impact driver could be improved with some sort of a mode option to allow for small impact sockets or large ones, or running things like lag screws, etc. I found running lag screw it will not start if just pull the trigger all the way, and impact does not work either if running too fast. The sawzall is nice but let down with the lack of LED light on it when the drill and impact have it. Not much of a fan of where the power button is on the flashlight, and that it does not dim. The circ saw leaves some to be desired the plastic guard just seems would be broken easily, and cutting a 2X6 it almost stalled a few times where most at least corded saws would have just kept going. This may be just a battery tool thing, but seems could use more torque. The kit also came missing one belt clip for one of the drill/impact drivers. The circular saw was also missing a screw to hold the optional square accessory to it. Hopefully, this is a one-off issue, but I can't say for sure. I usually think of Bosh as one of the higher-end brands, and for the most part, these look quite well made other details are kind of a letdown for the price point of this. ... show more

Bosch makes some good quality tools, and this is a great starter set if you want to commit to their battery platform. At the time of this writing, the set is on sale for $500, which is a really good price for a set like this. Puts it on par with Ryobi if you were to assemble a set like this, and I think these are a bit higher quality, though that could be bias, because I've used the green tools for decades and never had one fail on me. This set has the added bonus of the innovative impact driver/wrench, which makes a ton of sense in a DIY context. Overall, it all comes down to the battery platform and what else you're going to need. This set probably covers 80% of DIY needs. ... show more

The quantity of tools you get in this kit is pretty outstanding. It is really most tools you need when starting your journey in woodworking (aside from a table saw). I really like how it comes with 2x4Ah batteries a charger and a circular saw. The bag is also a nice addition with this kit. The tools are very good quality. I own Dewalt drill and driver and would say that this kit aligns very closely to those. The sawzall is pretty close to the Makita corded one I own. And the circular saw is signifyingly better then the Ridged one I currently own. The overall pros of this kit: - Good quantity of tools - 4Ah batteries provide long lasting life before charging - Bag is great to hold all tools - Tool quality is comparable to other brands - Impact driver supports sockets without attachments The only real cons I noticed currently are: - Batteries are released by pressing in not down like Dewalt - Bits need to be longer to fit in the impact driver - No brightness settings on light Aside from the few downsides this is a great kit for any starting hobbyist ... show more

I've not had Bosch power tools for a while and it's clear they've improved since I have. I found the driver my most favorite in this kit. The built-in 1/2" socket adapter is a superb idea that I wish all drivers had. That is genius! I find the reciprocating saw to be a bit non-intuitive to understand the blade system, but it's well-powered, and a capable saw. These tools are much heavier than my Milwaukee and DeWalt tools made for the same. They are definitely substantial and I feel as though they're made to take a licking! ... show more
