Description

Style:12V Green Cross/Plumb Laser The Bosch GCL100-80CG 12V max green-beam connected cross-line laser with plumb points delivers all-in-one versatility, with highly visible lines and points. They provide horizontal level, vertical alignment and plumb point transfer applications. The tool features Bosch- exclusive visi-max technology, which monitors tool temperature and power consumption to deliver the brightest line for the job. The laser Projects visible green lines up to 100 ft. , which are up to 4x brighter than standard red beams. The laser features Bosch 12V max Lithium-Ion power for extended laser Runtime during complex or all day layout jobs, provides a visible range of 100 ft. And can work with an optional Bosch laser receiver to extend that range to 165 ft. The smart pendulum system self-levels up to 4°, indicates out-of-level condition and locks for safe tool transport. The manual mode locks lines for Use at any angle. The laser comes with the RPM 2 magnetic rotating mount that rotates 360°, has a micro-fine adjustment knob and includes a ceiling grid clip. Class II laser product, <5mW power output.

I work in commercial plumbing, and not only does this laser have everything I need, the green lines are much stronger and clearer than the usual red. Fully charged, the battery provided is sufficient to keep the laser on continuously through a whole 10 hour day and more. The magnets on the wall mounting clamp are supportingly strong and keep the full weight of the laser with no problems. The only negative things I can think to mention would be that the case and the two red locking mechanisms feel a bit cheap and flimsy. Also maybe not necessarily a negative, rather just doming to note; this seller chooses to UPS and has UPS require a signature. So be ready to coordinate your UPS drivers arrival or to go pick it up at the nearest UPS Store. ... show more

I compared three green line lasers and this one is a clear winner for me. I’m not a pro, but I’m picky about the laser line quality. I’m looking for a crisp edge of the line. I’m not worried how thick the line is, as I will reference the edge. A fuzzy edge won’t cut it for me. There is a distinct difference between this model and an entry Bosch green laser model, so that one was out right away. Now, when I compared this one to the competing brand with a rechargeable 12v battery and similar price, this model has a crisper line, same line thickness and brightness. Line crispness is the deciding factor for me. The comparable model’s line also has a slight pulsating brightness while this one has a stable line brightness. Extra points go for the plumb points, micro adjustment dials, Bluetooth controls including brightness adjustments. This one is a clear choice for me. ... show more

It's a Bosh tool, so my expectations were high...I'm not disappointed. I like that it's a rechargeable battery that works with other (Bosch) tools. The only thing I'm not a real fan of is the packaging. It's a fairly compact tool but the case it comes in is about 5" x 18" x 11". If you are carrying this in a tool trailer, space is always a premium. Small complaint, not worth marking the tool down for. Plus, the tool is well protected and I'm pleased with the functionality which is what ultimately counts. ... show more

I am color blind and do not see a red line very well. So I purchased this laser level with the green line, and I am glad I did. I can see the line exceeding well in all types of light, especially outdoors. It has a 1/4" female thread on the bottom for a tripod. Unfortunately this does not work on my builder's level tripod, which has a 5/8" lug. So I had to use it on a camera tripod with 1/4" lug. I’m a huge Bosch fan and I was hoping to fall in love with this laser. Unfortunately the the laser line is to thick and that is huge for me especially because accuracy is very important in my line of business

I was super excited to use this lazer on my job sites. I primarily purchased it for exterior use. First time out of the box on a regular day and you could hardly see the line more then 8 feet across the wall....in the shade! Battery was fully charged no issues at all. So sent it back and purchased another one. Figured the last was a lemon. Same problem with the new one. Extremely dissapointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. ... show more

I’m a tile contractor and I purchased this for my layout for showers. All my power tools are Bosch do this made sense to go with the same platform. What a difference the green beam makes over a standard red beam laser. The Bluetooth connectivity is nice to be able to adjust the brightness or put the laser in sleep mode, without disturbing its position by using the onboard buttons. The carrying case is great, however, I’d like to have a foam insert for the laser in the case rather than a plastic one. All and all this laser is a fantastic product. ... show more
