Have not done much brick cutting for years. Type of walkway and patio (herringbone) creates quite a few cuts, to be expected. Unfortunately I do not have a wet saw, so I used my compound slider saw to do the work. It was cutting through the brick like hard butter. Need to understand that cutting through wood vs. brick is night and day. Not as quick but a slower pull/push on brick cutting gave a very smooth finish. Depending on the type of saw you use, strongly suggest a wet saw. If not, use a large shop vac to help remove debris as you are cutting and an air hose to constantly blow off the debris on the saw table. I have my large project 90% complete. I did order another blade for backup, but my first one is cutting just as well when I first used it. ... show more

    • Blade Gets the Job Done.

I needed to remove two sections of concrete in front of my house to place drains under the sidewalk. This blade on my Bosch circular saw cut through 16 feet of sidewalk like butter. I made multiple passes about a half inch deep at a time with a garden hose trickling on the sidewalk to keep the blade wet. I used a 2 inch wide L-shaped piece of aluminum as a guide. The cuts turned out perfectly. The blade still looks brand new. I used a GFCI on the end of my extension cord to make sure I didn't get electrocuted. Used on a DW717 Dewalt 10” miter saw to cut 12”x12”x2” concrete blocks. Made about 30 cuts. Sprayed the stone to cut down on dust. There was still dust but it cut through each of them with ease, with little wear on the blade or the saw. The only thing to be wary of is the dust accumulation on the saw. Clean your saw well with a shop vac and lubricate articulating parts IMMEDIATELY after use, even if cutting dry. Wear safety goggles and an N95 or better mask. This is a good blade that stood up to one use of many cuts and will hopefully see further use if the need arises. ... show more

Bought this to cut blocks while building a retaining wall. Price was great compared to Home Depot and Lowes. The blade worked great at going through 4 inch high by 7 inch deep retaining wall blocks.     • Worked for me saw cutting driveway.

Blade worked out perfect! Wanted to add an RV Dump and power in my front yard. I rented a walk behind concrete saw from Home Depot. Blade worked perfectly with the saw and was easy to use. I had my driveway cut and the existing RV slab cut in no time. I work construction and am pretty handy with equipment and tools but any DIY person can figure this out. Across my driveway was 3” concrete and I ran the blade deep and sawing thru dirt and rock was no problem. Now I need to find more projects for this blade ... show more

This blade work so much better expected. The job was to cut into a concrete slab. One half to keep the other to bust up. It was about 16 foot in length. I expected this to take hours, from experience with other concrete saw blades. I took 3 runs at it going deaper each time. Full cutting depth from a circular saw. I was done on under 30 minutes. BEWARE this blade generates ALOT of DUST. You must wear a mask to avoid the massive amount of dust this thing makes ... show more

Not sure how you beat this for the price, I used it to cut through a concrete slab in my basement to clear out an old gray water drain. Went through 4 in of concrete (had to crack that last bit, depth was just a bit short) easily in two passes with no water. Cutting through 70-year-old hardened concrete with no issues at this price point with no damage to the blade is pretty phenomenal. No sign of wear at all, I'd say you'll get 100 ft of cuts easily out of this blade ... show more
