This is a great upgrade to the OEM Toyota filter. Fitment is better and seems to seal better in the airbox. The factory filter lets airflow sneak past the filter and into the cabin. I think this is my new go to filter after trying several.

Worked as intended. The pic is after a little over a year of use. I picked this up to remove smoke odors from forest fires in Canada, as the OE filter did no such thing. It absolutely worked and this review is the second one I’m picking up. It removed odors once the windows were closed and AC was turned on. It is cake to install; 1. remove items from glove compartment, 2. push up on back panel, move it out of the way, 3. unclip the sides of the next panel, move it out of the way, 4. check and make note of the orientation, replace the old filter with the new filter in the same orientation, 5. put everything back. This fits my 2017 Toyota Tacoma perfectly and takes about 3 minutes to install. Save yourself $100. Don't let the dealer rip you off. Get this and install it yourself.

    • Restricts airflow out of vents
It seems to work too well. There’s a noticeable decrease in airflow coming out of the vents after installing. It’s like my AC is blowing on low no matter how high the fan is turned up. I’ll deal with it until it’s time to replace the filter, but I’ll choose something else next time.
