I have wide feet, and wide calves. These fit perfectly on my calves, but there is no room for it to go over any pants. That is fine for me, I got these to wear with longer dresses. The boots are comfortable, however, if you have wide feet, it may benefit you to go up a size. They were fine until early evening, when my foot swelled a bit, and then they got too tight in the foot area. They are antislip, and that is a major plus.
