I bought this to help darken my sleeping space. I'm a very active sleeper, and thrash around at night. This tent withstands not only heavy movement, but also the extremely curious cats I have who try to climb on everything. I absolutely love it. I almost don't want to leave it in the morning. That said, I do recommend having at least part of the tent open during the night, or it gets extremely warm inside. The storage pockets can hold my phone, a tablet, a Switch console, 2 remotes, glasses, and a bottle of water easily in just 2 pockets. The tent has 4 total, on either side of the head of the bed. It was easy to put together, and the hooks inside can hold my CPAP mask as well as a set of USB fairy lights. I will say the tent is dark even during the day, leading to me putting an LED lantern inside. 100% recommend this for insomniacs, night shift workers, autistic individuals, and anybody looking to make their bed into a cozy little nest of paradise. ... show more

I got this for a pillow fort. It goes on the floor but Ilike the idea of using it with my queen bed. It is very big and a pain to assemble but can be done in under an hour. It has great blackout ability. It has some storage as well.

Yes, I'm an adult who loves caves. When I was a kid I used to love building tents. I thought this would bring some whimsy into our bedroom or like privacy. However, it's a giant pain to put together. This is such a fun thing to have for the kids. When it's -40F outside and the cousins come over, the kids can still camp indoors! Pros + Compact. This tent packs down into a pretty small bag. Would be super easy to take with you to a hotel or other overnighter for extra privacy or fun. + Assembly. It looks more complicated than it is. The assembly isn't too bad. Just extend the rods and know which places they go and it goes up relatively easily with just one person. + Darkening. If you like to sleep in the dark and aren't claustrophobic, this is for you. It is easy to forget what time it is in this tent. When we have it up in the basement, the kids inside sleep way longer than they are used to. Cons + If you don't like enclosed spaces, this probably isn't for you. It's less than 4 feet tall. With a pretty thick mattress sitting inside this thing, I can't sit all the way up at 6' 2". The kids can. But I can only stack pillows and recline back in it if I want to sit up. ... show more

Bought this because in the picture it said strong blackout effect. As my pictures show it was not blackout at all. Not to mention it was hard to put together and took two people. The Velcro strap was also partially tore when it arrived so when I attached it, it ripped off completely. Returning in hopes to find another alternative that’s actually blackout. ... show more
