I previously owned this palette and i am unsure why - maybe improper storage (was in the garage for a week or two) - it started growing mold 😢 i also had it for many years. But this is my favorite palette. My go to. So i had to purchase it again. It works for my everyday looks or if i need a base shadow or crease shade. I cannot live without it. For the couple of weeks where i could not use it I was devastated. This is the only too faces palette i own and use. It is pigmented just right and easy to blend. It goes with my skin tone (fair), and it is always there for me. 🥰 Highly recommend if you need a basics or everyday palette. I like this similar to makeup by mario master mattes (the first one). Obviously they arent identical, but they do remind me of each other and use them interchangeably (depending). I love makeup and own way too many eye shadow palettes. This does seem like a real too faced palette, I swatched the one at Ulta and it does seem identical. The mattes are really nice and blend smoothly but the shimmers are a little too chunky for my tastes. They are highly pigmented but the glitter particles are slightly large, some shades are worse than others. That is really my only complaint.
