I ordered 2 of these and both cracked and broke within the first use. I’m super disappointed because I had owned an older version of this design for a long time and wanted to replace it but the quality is just not there in the product. Would strongly discourage you from purchasing it.

    • This is the "everything pitcher"

I searched extensively for a pitcher to meet ALL my needs. The Bormioli Rocco Kufra Jug does just that. I use it for cocktails with fruit juices so I needed a way to stir the fruit pulps before pouring -- the stirring stick does that. In addition, I can store in the refrigerator or on the buffet and it will stay cool. It has a large capacity even with the ice container in place. And, of course, it is sturdy and well balanced. I wanted to be able to get the last drop out the pitcher and this does it--unlike those jugs with spigots. Yes, this jug has it ALL in addition to a real classy look!!! Yes, you have to hold the top when pouring as some reviewers say -- But, what would you expect when you pour from anything with a loose lid. You will love this "everything pitcher"!! ... show more

    • We need a pitcher, not...(you know the rest)

This pitcher is very cheaply made. There is a large seam on the side of the pitcher itself that is really unattractive (not visible in the picture online), and the lid that comes with it does not stay on. In the picture, it looks like a snap-on or screw-on lid. It is neither. It sits on top of the rim of the pitcher, and when you tilt the pitcher, the lid falls off, and the stirrer does too. Seems like a major design flaw. Even though the price is not that expensive, it is still not worth the money. I will have to keep looking for the right sangria pitcher. Boo. ... show more

I drink a lot of tea but this would be great for the avid water drinker. The ice container is a BPA-free, plastic one that screws on to the lid. Fill it with water and freeze it or simply fill it with ice. Make your iced tea, margaritas or just plain water and you are good to go for the day. I will make a pitcher of iced tea, fit the ice container to the lid and I have cold tea that isn't watered down in an hour or two. The glass is high quality and the stirrer that fits through the lid and comes with it is a great, useful touch. ... show more

This is great it is glass though. I bought it thinking it was plastic. But I like it anyway. It's nice when you don't want to water down the beverage as an ice container is included. Arrived one day early and was carefully packed so it was safe for shipping
