    • Great shoe, shoelaces way too long

Shoes are sturdy, comfortable, lightweight and cooler than boots I wore all winter. However, the shoelaces are way too long. I literally had about 18" of shoelace left after snugging them up. Even tying a double knot left a foot -- I mean a foot on each side of each shoe! What am I gonna do with a foot of shoelace in each hand? They gotta be uncomfortably tucked in. Not good. And, they are the flat cloth shoelace that stretches a little bit. My advice is to buy thick, round boot laces. I had a spare pair of 72" laces that worked much better.     • Great riding and street shoes.
I haven't been wearing them too long so I can't speak to the durability, but they look good, feel good, and are comfortable to ride in. We are entering winter though, and I will say long rides do leave my feel a bit chilly.

From my experience, these shoes give you bang for your buck. I've seen similar shoes for an unreasonable amount of $$. The quality is good. They definitely protect you feet better than an average pair of shoes. I tried riding with some brand sport sneakers and it felt awful while shifting. With these my feet never feel uncomfortable. I'm a size 10.5 US. 183lbs, if that helps. The size 10s fit well. They don't feel any different from my normal 10.5 shoes. But if you have wider feet, maybe the 11 is better. My only "thing" is the zipper hasn't given me any issue, but the flap that covers it gets snagged sometimes. But I think that's just my foot placement being off right after I shift. Again, that's if I had to name a con to buying these. In my experience I've only had good come out of buying these Definitely give these a try. ... show more

Been through several pair of riding boots. Last pair were Tour Masters. Have never been able to find a pair that combined protection and every day walking comfort until I tried these boots. They are not light and they have good protection far up the ankle, yet they are comfortable enough to wear all day around the house. My other boots feel like ski boots when you try to walk in them, and every pair has been too narrow. I normally wear a 10.5 with a wider foot and I ordered the 11s. They fit perfectly! A little difficult getting the boots on using the zipper only, but once your foot slides in, there's plenty of room with decent insoles.     • Weird fit but comfortable, not super durable.
I had to go through a few sizes until I found one that worked. They are slightly tight as they get to the top. The are comfortable however, and the traction is pretty solid. The shoe itself does not have a steel toe and is relatively flexible so I don't think they will offer much protection in a fall or crash. They are okay for walking around but I wouldn't recommend them for an all day walking event or hiking. If you used them to hike, you will probably feel every rock and bend in the ground which most hiking shoes are rigid and meant to be hard when stepping on rough terrain. Overall they are descent and work but it might be better to find something more durable that will protect better in a crash or fall. ... show more
