This has turned out to be a pretty good replacement armor set, compared to the armor that came with my Scorpion riding jacket I bought. Its a bit more breathable, not as crazy with the back sweat, lightweight, and it feels much more durable too, although I'd prefer to never have to test that. Ixm giving it 4 stars because I feel it is stull slightly lacking in total protection. Its a dense foam-y material that feels great in terms of padding, but I'm not convinced it would hold up to the abrasion from sliding against pavement. If it had some sort of durable plastic-type covering to it for abrasion protection, then it definitely would be 5 stars. As far as pricing goes, I'd say that overall, it's worth it for a small step up from what you get with some cheaper jackets. ... show more

I bought these to replace the level 1 pads in my alpinestars jacket and to add a back pad. Seem well made and durable. They are light and move well with you. They fit perfectly in my jacket and don’t move around

I haven't had to test them yet and hope I never do. But they fit perfectly in my Indian jacket and fit my body in the jacket. They don't walk around inside my jacket pockets - not in the way or distracting.
