I used to have a full set of Bell one piece elbow/shoulder/chest protectors but it was uncomfortable and hot. This one has been great though, no shoulder protectors is a lot more comfortable, its breathable so its not hot, and none of the protector moves or gets in the way while riding. Just received this product and I wanted to hopefully help any "bigger" riders who might be looking for affordable chest protection. I'm 6'0" and 245#, I ordered the L/XL version of this product and as you can see by the photos this fits a big boy like me. Product is well constructed, comfortable and easy to adjust / take on and off. I haven't ridden in this yet but I don't expect it to be an issue as I stated before it's very comfortable (I've been wearing it around the house for a few hours). I have broken ribs before and it was not fun, I literally spent months in recovery. On coming back to mountain biking I determined that I wanted some type of protection. This has fit the bill, and it's not hot as I would expect due to the well placed air vents. I recommend this product and I wear mine EVERY trip out now.     • Falling apart after one month
As some other reviewers mentioned, the glue that holds the protective pieces in place is coming apart. It didn't last long, I used it six times, no crashes, just normal use - downhill mountain biking. I called Fox. They said it was guaranteed for a year, but told me to call Amazon because that is where I purchased it. Amazon came through with flying colors and fix the problem. ... show more
