This works amazing but will not work with Harbor Freight saw. It'll hit the back bottom support bracket. Cutting a small notch would allow it to clear but for the price shouldn't need to modify it.

Did not come with instructions and looking up YouTube they have a couple of different models so I'm peiecing it together also those knobs that snap in place per assembly video. Jeez wow. Still messing with that an hour later to no avail

Received this portable stand as a gift a few years ago. While it was easy to tilt back with my previous lighter Hitachi 10" compound miter saw, it does take a little "oomph" to tilt it back with my new 12" Makita compound miter saw. That extra oomph required putting one's foot on the lower cross brace to tilt it back and to return to its normal position. As a result, the metal cross brace would simply buckle. Thus, I beefed up what I consider the weakest portion of this unit by sandwiching 2 pieces of 3/4" angled aluminum (See photos). I would recommend this slight modification to all who purchase this Bora Portamate PM-800 to prevent your back cross piece from buckling. Other than this poor engineering design, this unit has held up wonderfully in my home workshop. ... show more

It came missing parts can't even use it. Big items like this are such a pain in the ass to return too. So annoyed right now. First and last Bora purchase. I wish DeWalt made something like this.

    • This thing is amazing
After reading reviews I was a little skeptical about buying this. I decided to "risk it" and bought it based on the reviews on the sister product the PM-8000. The box was a bit dinged up when it arrived (duh) but man was I was impressed with the quality as I was setting it up....it comes mostly assembled. If you have any mechanical sense, this thing is very easy to put together, there is basically three main parts - the top and two sides. I read reviews complaining about pinch points and sharp edges and poor quality materials, DO NOT let them scare you, this thing is built like a tank. Yes, you could technically pinch yourself if you were dumb, but let's be honest the miter saw you're putting on here is way more dangerous. The roller stand is super handy for longer stuff like trim. This table is not well built… quality of the product doesn’t live up to its reputation. Overall it’s a bad quality product. It’s a good concept but it’s not built to last. I just put it together this morning and the locking pin on the handle has already came off.

It's a well thought out idea. However the materials and fittings are absolutely terrible and a lot of pinch points and way too many sharp edges.
