I know most people probably use these for their kids' cups, but I don't have kids - I have two cats who shed like it's their job as soon as the temperature goes above 60F (which in Houston is basically EVERY DAY), so....I got these because I was tired of finding the odd random cat hair or five in my drink whenever one of my cats brushed by my glass. All my glasses are pint glasses, though, and these are WAY too small. Getting them on is incredibly difficult, but getting them to STAY on? IMPOSSIBLE. That's not even the worst part - it's that the few times I DID manage to get the heckin' thing ON the glass, it would stay on juuuuust long enough to lull me into a false sense of security (and pride at having accomplished such a feat!) and then WHOOSH, it would not only shoot off the top of the glass, it would do so with such force that it'd spill my drink in the process. That happened, like, three times before I gave up entirely -- with a lap full of grapefruit juice, a string of obscenities, a cackling boyfriend, and two bemused (if slightly alarmed) ginger bois. We started out with Boon Nursh bottles & they have lived up to every standard I hoped for so we I found these lids, I was SOLD! I gave everything 5 stars because it’s awesome! The straw/lid combo is obviously not leak-proof if turned over but the seal around the lid is 100% perfect! It’s so easy to clean, yes it’s silicone so fuzz can stick but a baby wipe fixes it right up! It’s perfect for traveling! I buy the boon storage lids and they travel that way. I use the boon storage containers to hold the silicone lids until I’m ready to use them.. Keeps them clean and organized! The the lid/straw combo: the lids are silicone. The straw is hard plastic. You can see them used on the 4 ounce bottle and the 8 ounce bottle. The 4 ounce is easier to hold for my little one. The 8 ounce would be perfect for a toddler. I take the nipple out of the ring on the bottle, screw the ring back on and then put the silicone lid on. It’s hard to stretch and out on but that’s what gives it it’s seal. For the zippy cup lid: its 100% silicone. I held it upside down and it didn’t leak but if the sucking part is pressed & it’s upside down it will leak. I take the nipple out of the plastic ring and screw the plastic ring back on and then put the silicone sippy lid on. My little one loves to chew on it and has no problem getting drink out (7 months). We mostly use the 4 ounce bottle because it’s easier for her to hold. The silicone drop in still works as normal and collapses as she drinks. ... show more

They are okay. Not the best cup for my family or any family with pets for that matter. The silicone attracts every bit of animal hair and then grossed me out and I don’t want my child eating the food.

I love these snack cups. We have a set of the munchkin cups, but i always feel bad because it seems like my 20 month old is scraping her fingers on the hard plastic. I went searching for something that was a little more forgiving, but would still have some protection against her tipping it over and showering my car with goldfish. These are perfect. The top is silicone, so it's soft - no scraped fingers. Yet, she can still reach in and get her snacks easily. When turned upside down, the snacks don't fall out. Now, eventually your little one will figure out how to hold one side of it open and shake all of the contents out. That is sort of inevitable and a downside of just about every snack cup a kid can use on their own. All in all, I think this was a great buy. My baby started refusing bottles from about 3 months and also refuses sippy cups with bottle-nipple-like tops. These sippy lids are the first that she's actually liked in many months of trying various types of drinking cups/straws/etc. They are super soft, in fact far softer than the bottle nipples that claim to be "closest to the real thing" so I would say these are more like the real thing! It seems my baby agrees and that's the only opinion that really matters! These hold up well, are easy to wash, and when she drops her cup only a few drops spill out. They are easy to fit onto small cups that fit her hands well. We have been using them on top of the regular sippy cups in place of the normal tops because they sippy cups have handles that she can use. ... show more

This is the 3rd order I have made with them. I absolutely love these, I have switched to using these completely. They fit on any cup I have had to use them on. I have multiple people asking me about these and some have purchased them since! The only thing that causes them to leak is once your child sticks their fingers in the hole and causes it to no longer close up, but it took a while for this to happen. I love my boon drying racks so when I saw a boon product I didn’t even think twice about the quality of the product, however we have had these for less than a month and I have only hand washed them and used them on Tupperware sippy cups which as you can see in the pictures have a relatively equivalent circumference to the boon tops. They definitely have a smaller circumference than the cup these tops come with. However the sippy cup tops have become a leaking mess because of the holes that have developed from stretching the lids onto the Tupperware cups. Don’t waste your money because we unfortunately have to throw all these lids away now. ... show more
