This is a sturdy stand that works as described. With the adjustable height, it can be used while sitting or standing. Holds my phone perfectly!

The good... - The main part of the stand is made of metal and it's quite sturdy. - The mic boom arm is stable and the mic holder is standard. The bad... - When putting the stand together, if you're even slightly off on the threads, you're going to need some tools to get it back apart. I had to get a pair of pliers to get the stand back in the bag. - The tablet holder is absolutely the worst part of this whole thing! Tightened all of the way, it can't hold my tablet. It could possibly hold a phone or mini tablet but I doubt that too (it was so loose). - For this to actually be portable, you literally have to take every single little piece off and then put it back on. This stand suffers from a really bad design. - Everything fits in the included bag, but barely. There should've been a small pouch on the outside of the bag to hold the mic and tablet holders away from the main stand. If you order this stand, here is my recommendation...throw away the tablet holder and just use this thing as a microphone stand. But, overall, I can't recommend actually purchasing this stand, just buy a standard microphone stand and a separate tablet holder and you'll be better off.

This stand is pretty good for most environments where you can set it up once. For example dubbing / recording, streaming, and home studio use. Where you may want to think twice is in a live scenario with many different users as this stand is not quickly adjustable. Just think about this more like you would a really fancy tripod vs a normal microphone stand. Like - Many different configurations including one with both phone / tablet and recording device - Solid construction - Included carrying bag Improvements - "Squeeze to adjust" style grips would make it easier for live stage use with multiple performers Overall I think this is a great piece of kit to have with you. It's very easy to transport, although the solid construction does make setup and tear down a little longer than some may like. If you take care of it, this should last for a good long time!

The media could not be loaded. This microphone stand with a iPad/iPhone holder a perfect design. The quality is very decent, and the base is very stable. It is perfect for live streaming and online Instruments or vocal lessons. I am satisfied with this purchase.

This boom mic stand comes in a pretty small box...but don't let that fool you! When you open it and assemble, it becomes HUGE! And then it gets even bigger when you realize several of the bars telescope. Putting it together is pretty straight-forward. I read several of the other reviews that said it was hard to screw together or hard to take apart for travel; I disagree. I put mine together in about 5 minutes and was first of all pleased to see that it's rock-solid. In fact, the threading is so tight that you almost don't realize there are multiple bars screwed together. Disassembling would be just as easy, I'd think, and it comes with a nice bag, but honestly, I'd probably just push in the telescoping portions and throw in the trunk if I wanted to travel with it. There's also an tablet/phone holder that can screw on the top. That portion I don't quite get, mostly because of the angle. I'd far prefer to attach one in the middle of stand. But no biggie; it's easily removeable. Overall, I'm super pleased. It feels high quality, telescopes tall, telescopes wide, and meets the needs I had of having a mic stand that positioned in front of my piano. Highly recommended!
