Two of my sons have served Spanish speaking missions for our church. This side by side (English/Spanish) Book of Mormon helped them both so much learning the language. The book is made out of high quality and is easy to read and has been a great study guide and tool. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Book of Mormon that will help them either was - English speaking learning Spanish or even Spanish speaking learning English. This is awesome!! I bought it as a Christmas gift and I know the family is going to love it!! I'm really tempted to buy another copy for myself. Side note: I purchased both an Italian and Spanish version of this for family members, and was shocked to see the size difference. I didn't realize until today that this is offered in two thicknesses. The Italian version is on really nice, high quality paper which makes the book almost 2" thick, while this 2nd edition Spanish version is on the really thin scripture paper, so it's only about 1/2" thick. I don't think either is inherently good or bad; depending on how you're going to use it you might really love the size of this book or prefer something thicker that's easier to write in. It's great that there's an option to choose, but don't be like me and not realize that until it comes! Haha... I've included a picture of the Italian one (which has almost exactly the same pages as Spanish) next to this second edition Spanish book so you can see the difference. I wish both listings would include a picture of them side by side with info on ordering the other one in case people want that. ... show more

    • Korean is such a hard language to learn!

I decided to learn Korean because I thought it would be fun, and it is! So hard to do though. But it was by reading the book of Mormon in English that I learned how to speak English, so I figured I could do the same thing again but this time in Korean. I love the Book of Mormon and this gives me the chance to learn how to read and write in Korean. Thank you for making this dual language version! ... show more

My daughter is using this at the moment to help prepare for her Spanish-speaking mission. She’s going through every day, line by line, to increase her comprehension. I know she will still struggle with the language when she gets out there, but this is at least increasing her confidence. The book is well made, and opens easily.
