Used to connect the night vision quad lenses we ordered. (Both helmet and goggles were ordered on Amazon) worked perfect, sturdy. Instructions weren't included but we realized they are on the pictures. They're strong enough to hold the lenses up, which are pretty heavy.

Quality wise it's amazing for plastic, amazing price for the money and preforms amazingly. It looks good and weighs little but it does wobble after use with NVGs or anything else attached but nothing a little tightening can't fix.

Really good looking mount. Looks like it’s made out of a hard plastic ABS plastic with metal springs and components a fraction of the cost of a metal mount. Would recommend!

This mount is made of generic components and will not last. It does not fit properly in mount of helmets using real mil parts. It is oversized and sticks in the mount. Broken easily due to brittle material and subpar springs and pins. I wouldn't use this thing in a nerf war. Advertising stated aluminum in the initial description, but failed to realize it was plastic once in the deeper detail and part number. ... show more

I have a cheap single tube NVG (basically a night vision camera) that is meant for hunting and simple night vision. It is not meant for anything tactical, but I noticed it had a helmet mount slot. This little polymer mount fit what I was looking for perfectly. I thought it would be a great idea to have the ability to mount NVGs, but I didn't want to spend $75+ on a metal NVG mount for a $300 pair of NVGs. This is still a plastic mount, so it won't be as durable as metal, but it is really rugged. It more than does the job and doesn't bounce around or make noise when you're moving. If you are doing light training, hunting, or anything similar, this mount works great and is 100% worth the money. It is built well, has lots of flexibility, and functions well. ... show more

I received the plastic fde mount. Wasn't expecting too much, but was surprised at how sturdy this is built. Fits on a standard mount with no issues and holds my single tube without any issues. If you're not familiar with these type of mounts, this thing came with absolutely no instructions so a couple YouTube videos will point you in the right direction. Arrived in a plain small cardboard box and that was it! I don't think this will hold up to rugged use, there are a few parts that are a little thin and overall the plastic seems to be a bit brittle. I think this would be great for Airsoft or any LARPing, but I wouldn't be hooking up an $1,800+ tube to this thing anytime soon. ... show more
