This drill press is okay. If you are using it for easy around the house DIY projects it will work, but it's not powerful or study enough for big projects or hard surfaces. The drill is loose and feels unstable even when locked into position. That leads it to not being very accurate. If the wood is thick or it's a really hard surface the drill won't go through it. Not precise, not sturdy, has alot of wobble and is noisey loud. Mortising requires a fair degree of precision and stability and this is neither, even drilling simple holes leaves alot to be desired. It's pretty useless and just another piece of junk that takes up valuable space. I'll probably donate it to love inc, it's not for me. Don't waste your money. ... show more

This thing is pretty impressive. For the price tag you can't beat it either. It works very well as a drill press, it has all the torque at half the size of a normal drill press. Super easy to set up and use comes with everything you need. I loved how cheap it was and that it worked so well.
