The item was packed really well to withstand any shopping accident. Bubble wrapped, with cardboard corner protectors, then put in a really thick snug cardboard box and sealed. Then the entire box is put in an outer shipping package with metal corner protectors. It was pretty much indestructible. The case itself seems to be really well made with thick metal. 5 total lock bolts, 3 on side 1 on top 1 on bottom. It comes with external battery pack in case the battery inside dies. It comes with concrete anchors but I didn't use those. I only secured it using the predrilled holes on the back and screwed into the studs. Only issue is with the dimensions. This one (5 rifle) is 13.5 inches wide, not 11.8 as mentioned in the description. So I had to reorganize my closet quite a bit to find a different spot to put it.

So well packaged, it would have surely gotten damaged if it wasn’t. I was hesitant to pay for the shipping but so glad I did. As for the safe, it’s a great, sleek option. Easy to set fingerprint scanner and new code. Haven’t figured out how to disable the alarm feature, but that’s not a huge issue for me. Safe is great for what I need, top compartment is nice, holders on the door are great too. I’m very pleased with this purchase and know I made the right choice. It’s a great buy. Only knock on this was the instructions, not great, but eventually figured it out. Still, 5 stars for the safe and 5 plus stars for being exceptionally well packaged.

This felt like a complete ripoff at this price, or any price to be honest. It's so flimsy. Multiple panels got bent during assembly. The instructions were pretty minimal and frustrating. In the end when you finally have it together you have a locker that still feels flimsy enough that I KNOW I could get into it thru the side or the top. In the end I spent fair money for junk that won't keep my guns safe or give me peace of mind. Now I have to invest in something better and this time Amazon and whatever cheapo-china company that made this crap can get bent.

The back and side walls are single layer metal. This metal is soft and easily cut or drilled. This makes the cabinet easy to install but, unless you can install it so that the back and side wall are inaccessible it would not stop or slow down a determined thief. There is only one self that is in a fixed location. At least two shelves that are movable would be much better. The rest for the rifle barrels is also in a fixed location. If rails were added to the back and side walls to make shelves and the barrel rest movable this would vastly improve the cabinet's functionality and adding metal to the back and side walls would add security to the cabinet. It is a little pricey.

Great price for a cheap gun safe/cabinet. Definitely tight inside. Can only fit 4 rifles like it says but really no room for more then 1 handgun on the shelf. Overall not bad for price! Must screw to wall and floor or it will not be sturdy.
