One note, you will have to water more often, dries out quickly, I added some sphagnum moss in the bottom of the pots to help retain moisture. Also added Bio-char to the mix.

Good stuff! My jades love it. Trying some others in it now. Its a very clean, and well ratioed mix. Be aware this isnt conventional soil, its rocks, and perlite and stuff like that. 10/10 would recommend

This soil is great for any bonsai enthusiast. There is minimal dust on it however, some will need to be washed off as with any soil. The water retention isn’t super great however What you are getting without being in the organic field. The size of granules is perfect for bonsai and Growth by providing more oxygen to the roots. Performance wise, it has done great for me so far has given me A lot of value For the money.

Very nice soil but amount of soil you get is closer to 12 quarts, not 20. Other reviews said this was the case so i can't claim to be surprised. I'm taking away one star because I disagree with the notion of calling something more than it is. They should just say 12 quarts as that appears to be the common amount. The bag it came in would not hold 20 quarts ever so it's not a mistake.
